Where and when to go?

Hello ibiza,

Summer is coming and i am already excited,

Love summers )))

This will be my first time to ibiza, and i am planning going to ibiza with friends on mid august or september. They told me closing parties are the best.

When is the best time to go there?

Hotel es vive is our choice! or do you recommend apartments?

Renting a car or taking taxis is better?

Any recommendations are welcome,

Closing parties are fun. Check the party calendar in the clubbing section of the website and time your trip around the DJs you want to see. mid-September is probably best.

I always rent a car. It's pretty cheap (20 euros a day) and I like the freedom to drive around. It does mean, however, that I stop drinking alcohol a couple hours before the clubs close (and don't drink too much at whatever pre-party stop we make). Definitely get the insurance because I put all kinds of little dents in my car last year.

My friends who've stayed in Es Vive said it is a great party hotel but it's not the best place to stay if you're most important concern while in your room is getting some sleep. Thin walls, apparently.
