When Nietzsche Wept

I just finished reading this book about psycho-analysis and nihilistic philosophy. There are some amazing quotes from Nietzsche and I'm sharing my favourite with you:

"We should consider every day lost on which we have not danced at least once. And we should call every truth false which was not accompanied by at least one laugh."

"A man's maturity - consists in having found again the seriousness one had as a child, at play."

"Life would be a mistake without music."

What a philosopher!

Good choice. Nietzsche is my favorite philosopher. :)

A few quotes:
"Insanity in individuals is something rare - but in groups, parties, nations and epochs, it is the rule."

"There is always some madness in love. But there is also always some reason in madness."

"For believe me: the secret for harvesting from existence the greatest fruitfulness and greatest enjoyment is - to live dangerously."

"I do not know what the spirit of a philosopher could more wish to be than a good dancer. For the dance is his ideal, also his fine art, finally also the only kind of piety he knows, his 'divine service.' "

"The most spiritual human beings, assuming they are the most courageous, also experience by far the most painful tragedies: but it is precisely for this reason that they honor life, because it brings against them its most formidable weapons."

Two of his books, "The Will to Power" and "Beyond Good and Evil", are probably my absolute favorite books of all time.
