When Does Ibiza Shut Up Shop For Summer???

Hi There!

New to this posting lark so bear with me!!

Me and the wife are looking to come to Ibiza for a late summer holiday (end September, probably the last week) but have been told to be careful as Ibiza 'shuts up shop' in terms of nightlife towards the end of september.

We're not too bothered about the clubs, it's more the bars in the San An area we're interested in....when do they close for the summer....will we be missing out onmuch this timeofthe year?

Plus what are all the other areas like at this time of year(Playa Den Bossa etc)??

Any help would beappreciated.

every single bar in ibiza will be open at the end of september. the tourist areas of ibiza 'shut up shop' at the end of october and all the really good places are open all year.

I am certain it doesn't shut up shop for summer..it's it's busiest time...:lol:

I am sure there is plenty to see, do and enjoy all year round so late sept aint gonna be a problem
 
ok i go later in oct.say 7th for two weeks.i do find a few bars do close up.they see have many people are around.but there is still enough places open to have a good time.i do find that the people are a bit more friendly,


plus you get more time to chat to the owners ect.not so packed on the bus/you can get around faster/ plus the sales are very good.1/2 in most shops.you get a true picture off ibiza.when the clubbers have gone home.

excactly what woodruffe said, october is a great month to visit if you dont want big clubs, san antonio bay stays busy until the end of october, nice people and good atmosphere everywhere.
