What's Up at Space

I went to the opening. Brilliant music, but in terms of crowd it was very empty. Only about 20 people there.

But very good music. If it was busy it would have been brilliant.

was it just on the Terrace?

I guess the Closing will be much busier, there's Cream closing the night before, so it's the ultimate after-party.

Anyone been to it this year?
Any good?

We're thinking of hitting the closing party with Mr C and MANDY.

Yeah I been. Arguably the most intriguing line up musically, but not a guaranteed floor filler.

It's worth supporting tho if you want to hear more of this sort of stuff here in Ibiza.

They had the inside room open as well but not for very long. I went the morning after the opening of cream.

From memory, I went to Mr C at Underground last year, and I have never been so bored musically in my life. Real minimal, synthed bleeps and beeps.

Truly the "Modern Art" of the dance world.

Hey Stu, my wife and I will be doing the What's Up Closing party. I'm a big M.A.N.D.Y. fan and we figured the place might get rammed considering Cream's closing on Thursday. Musically, I think the party might be right up my ally so I'm really looking forward to it.

See you on the dancefloor. ;) :)

i once went in july. only the inside was opened (i think they normally only open the discoteca for what's up...and not the terrace :?: ) and it was quite empty :( only had this experience and to me, it was the weakest afterhour at space...all others i've been (manu after, ibws and above all, matinée) were much better IMO.

As Rob said, we went in June after Deep Dish Opening and they were giving out free/cheap wrist bands outside Pacha. Musicwise is was brilliant but no atmosphere cos it was pretty dead, if you want to do a Carry On then I'd do Manumission, La Troya or Matinee above What's Up??
