What's this aerial show all about?

Over Playa den Bossa today. Only got a quick look peeking out from under my umbrella but they looked more like drones than real planes. They buzzed the beach twice then flew away.

Any idea what that's about?
 
Just saw them fly over again and got a better look. Real planes. Still flying in formation.
 
Watching them from Figuretes. Sao 9 in a square formation with 1 following. Training perhaps?
All just flown in towards the airport in a line as if the fun’s over.

I saw that too, flying back in a straight line. Also figured they must be going to land.
