Hi, coming for a 9 day hol next week to Talamanca beach with our 2 year old (yes, I did mistakenly say 'holiday'!!). Been looking round Spotlight at everything there is to do but I'm just wondering what's still going off season? i.e. can we still take in a sunset at Cafe Del Mar and what about 'family stuff', are the tourist trains still running or what else is there to do with a small child (sensible answers only please......!!). Any helpful tips welcome........ Kadge x

i'm afraid that all the 'touristy' stuff closes down by 31st october. i know there's a kids' playground on the paseo to the dyke near talamanca but other than that i'm not sure

the thing is that in the off season ibiza is still a wonderful place to visit but you need to be quite independent and not rely on having everything 'laid on' for you.

quite a few of the bars on the harbour in san antonio are open, last night we had cocktails in villa mercedes and ritas cantina, also a liitle bar 300 yards on from cafe del mar is open to watch the sunset from, i like people watching from cafe sydney on the harbour in ibiza town..brunch is good
the weather is lovely at the mo warm enough for the liitle one to play on the beach....casa thai in jesus is nice for dinner xx the little train in san an still operates for the older spanish tourists xxx

Thanks for the info Stephen and Suepink, we are actually coming by ferry so will have the car so plan to do a great deal of independent sightseeing but I just wanted some pointers for the little one too! Will look forward to watching that sunset in the cafe near Cafe Del Mar....................... Kadge x

If you are driving around , have a look at the posters around, there are things going on, eg Santa Gertrudis fiesta 16th, San Carlos started on the 4th, tomorrow there is autocross on the San Raf road, starts at 11 am,
