What's for dinner?

Been a while since we've done one of these threads.

I brought home a few pork and chicken dumplings from the supermarket as an appetizer.

For the main course, I made sesame seed and cracked red pepper encrusted steaks, drizzled with sesame ginger teriyaki sauce, and a side of stir fried baby asparagus with green onion and garlic.

Mmmmm :)

I just had some soup, hubby got in from work, and went fishing, so I put some food in a bag for him, n did him a flask
now I need to go n do some work

last night i made the worlds spiciest chile con carne. Ive never used Cayenne pepper before , i thought it was like Paprika so put in a couple tablespoons. Only had 2 jalepinos in apart from that but after 1 mouthful i was on fire! Had to douse it with 2 pots of yoghurt to make it edible so now i have a yellow chilli. Got leftovers for few days now!

Hungry. Been running down supplies before fleeing urban madness back to the countryside for a bit. Just realised I actually cannot put a meal together from what I have left. Microwave meal from the gas station looks likely. :(.

So jelous at above posts... I am currently 'living it up' at Blackburn and Darwin Travel Lodge... and after a horrible experience with a coop sandwich at lunch, I decided to stick to Macy Ds for dinner... not healthy, but at least I knew it would taste good.

long story...

Roll on tomorrow when I am back in Spain and can have Tapas for lunch!!

Ouch!! I bet you won't make that mistake again:lol:

If its that hot you might want to put your loo roll in the fridge, helps with the cooling of the burning bum:lol:

Made my first successful risotto the other night - so proud am I that I had to share! My previous attempt was pathetic and it has taken a year and a half to recover from the scarring to try again

Left over roast chicken, some ham, baby spinach, peas and parmesan - yum!

I marinated some chicken, mushrooms, red onion with lemon juice, garlic and spices and skewered them and grilled them, then made spicy rice and salad on the side NOM NOM NOM !!

Tonight I will get my mamas cooking wooohoo!!:lol:
