What's Darren Emerson's current form like?

Opening night of Underwater was amusing until Darren started, after that it was just...boring. If you like same beat all the night then get a drum machine and you can forget Underwater. Where is the man who partied hard with Morillo a couple of years ago?

Get funky :!:

This wasn´t about Morillo. It was about Darren who rocked  Pacha back then and now (last tuesday) - looked tired and sounded boring

Sounds good then, Morillo is absolute shit. Funky house is a load of pish. Deep or tech house on the other hand... :D

Morillo is the second biggest let down I've experienced when seeing a DJ. Sasha comes first.

i think both emerson and morillo are yesterday's men.

Emerson would have access to so much new music, yet he always plays big party tunes that are few months old that have been caned by everyone.

Have a look at carl cox on the other hand........has been going for 20 years, but still manages to sound fresh and consistantly digs up awesome new tracks to play in each set.

morillo and emerson are both old hat these days, same old stuff, like alot of the older dj's on the circuit (except coxy cos he is still the man!) should be distant memories, let some of the new boys and girls come through e.g Nick Bridges (MoS ressie) and even some of emersons boys, wally lopez for instance, bit of diversity!

That's fair enough, but I need a big crowd puller. Once people have faith in my night then I'll go for more diverse DJs... ;)

i agree Wally Lopez is a great Dj and producer.

However to say Morillo & Emerson are old is a bit stupid?
They each the owner of labels which are major players in the house scene over the world today.

Emersons productions are also great and Morillo has a new album out?
