what type of music is played at HYTE and Together?

Hi, we cant decide which night we need to go to, either HYTE or Together? We are more into House music, we tried Music On 2 years ago and it was too hardcore for our taste..

Easy answer then: Together for Defected on the terrace. Should be straight-up house music all night long (dependant on line-up!) Which date/s are you looking at?

Hyte will be harder techno, though maybe not as hard as Carola goes at Music On. Check out Maceo Plex's soundcloud page - he uploads plenty of his sets to give you an idea. Quite eclectic really.

And Loco Dice will mix it up, so I dare say you'd enjoy him too.

But stick with Defected (at Together) if you wanna play it safe. You'd probably dislike it if you went to Hyte on a night Liebing was playing.

thanks! really good overview of what both nights would have to offer, HYTE would be a bit too hard for me so decided on Together at Amnesia fairly early on...seems like the right choice was made! :)
 
You're being a pedant. And unnecessarily so. Carola plays both techno and tech house. (why bring in the comparison with Mills? it's taking the thread completely off course - I wasn't debating that {nobody was} and FYI I would agree with you!!!)

The original poster was asking what they should do: Together or Hyte.

Based on the info they gave - that they like house music, and found Music On too hard, I gave a balanced answer.

Been to a load of Defected nights before and I used to work at Ministry of Sound, (Defected would host a night every month and it was always the busiest and most amazing night in our calendar!) so really looking forward to it! It's gonna be HOUSE ALL NIGHT LONG! #HouseEveryWeekend :lol:

Yup 4th August :cool:....have you stole my planner? I do believe we're at almost all of the same nights (apart from the agua party at es paradis!!) :D
 
Well we may well tempt you into that still yet! It was amazing fun last year! :p

Or perhaps you girls will tempt us into Insane @ Pacha instead :cool: I'm starting to think you may have hacked my planner though, yes! :lol:
