What to expect from Ibiza?

Hi all, Just asking what to expect from this amazing place from your past experience there like night life etc i know there probs a sticky or whatever but nothings better than a personal experience. I'm booking flights and accomodations in 2 weeks for 2013 and staying for 3 weeks from late august to september sometime. Can't believe its near a 40 hour flight from Australia to ibiza with all the stops!
