Just about to depart for stansted and checked the weather in Ibiza for the next 10 days, looks like we may get a fair few rain showers so was wondering what there is to do on the island if it pissing down?

Cheers

shopping in ibiza town - end of season sales
visit dalt vila - beautiful even with rain
enjoy great lunches and dinners

Yes! Eat, walk, shop, enjoy the break from the heat? Lol.
Doesn't normally last too long in Ibiza from my personal experience. Heavy showers have always seemed to pass quickly and be followed by lovely sunshine!

Today isn't the best of days, cloudy and incredibly windy. Usually around this time, I'm having a meal at either the Golden Buddha bar or Mambos. Won't be an enjoyable experience today. I'm sat in my hotel deliberating my next move.:)

yeah seems like the west of the island has heavy winds today. ibiza town side is better - great day for sightseeing in i-town imo!

I'd really like to hop on a bus and go somewhere, but because of this wind, I reckon I've had something like 1 minute sleep :D There was always something banging throughout the night.

I'll be in Ibiza town tomorrow anyway, on my way to Salinas. 8)

definitely need a good breeze for a stroll around Dalt Vila, almost impossible in high temps with no wind!
xx

Very breezy here in Es Cana today, but it's a relief after the heat of summer! 8) Still sunny and warm tho, despite the wind!

Well San An has brightened since this morning, went for a Salmon salad and Mojito at Mambos. Some of the lettuce became a casualty of the wind, but quite pleasurable.

Enjoyed swimming in Sa Caleta in the waves today, then hurried to the Driftwood "boat" party, which has been moved on land due to high seas :(

On cool cloudy days it's fun diving into the sea as it can be a few degrees warmer than the air!

Bad weather days are a great chance to explore the little villages and coves in the north by bus - you might find a little treasure whereas otherwise you'd have been on the beach!

Over weekends check out the sporting activities and go and watch a game - be one of the Ibiza Ultras for the day!! http://www.ffib.es/Fed/ (no English translation). All the towns seem to have a small ground, inc. bar ;-)

Too much time spent in SW Scotland ;) ... if you dress in cool enough clothing those temps are fine for a stroll .. love it, actually - went hiking in 38 degrees with little to no wind this Summer, usually hit the Sea by default and found it surprisingly manageable. Just needed a bit more water than usual :!:

Cheers guys, yesterday we walked to talamanca and walked round the old town, weather quite good tbh, plan for today is relax, have bocadillos for lunch and maybe Sankeys later, will do a proper review on my return, providing I have any memory left!
