What part of island gets best weather in winter?

hi itsme,
i can speak from experience (living in sant jordi) the south is MUCH MUCH better than the north, which is much wetter and colder.
i think the salinas have something to do with it (water retains heat a long time), but the hills in the middle of the island will play their part too - most of the rain falls on these hills instead of making it over and down to the south of the island.
it you are going to stay here in winter, go down south baby!

Great place to eat too and it's open through the winter.
i think guides usually say anything to please their guests (i did two seasons as a guide so i speak from the heart ;-)
santa eulalia and ibiza certainly have the busiest winter life. with lots of restaurants staying open. there are a few bars in the port of ibiza which stay open, but not many.
playa d'en bossa is a ghost town ;-)
however we've had glorious weather. we had lunch at jockey club yesterday in 20ºC sunshine - several hundred people lazing around on the sand. really beautiful.
on the other hand i still sleep with an electric blanket at nights - as you can maybe tell from this, ibiza in winter is a pretty mixed bag ;-)
great weather though most of the time, and a lovely intimate feel to the bars when you do go out. pacha on friday is especially nice. grial is great, the wine bar is nice. locura in the middle of the port area is brilliant...
