What happened to Fiesta Dopn Toni?

Firstly, is this even still a Fiesta hotel? It is no longer on their website!

Secondly, First Choice / Thomson used to have the two separate parts (Club and Hotel, but using same facilities) for sale separately, but now it's just sold as 'Don Toni Resort'.

Finally, it seems to be much more expensive than last year.

Does this all have anything to do with Ushuaia taking over the nearby Fiesta hotel? Is it still the Don Toni that I have known and loved for years?

I'm confused!!!

PS BY the way, does anyone know who owns Ushuaia businesses? Two years ago the beach bar opened, and now they have an entire hotel, which from IS pictures looks pretty special...
 
Aha so you're still marketing them separately - I wonder why FC and Thomson have stopped doing so. And even more, I wonder why Fiesta's website doesn't have it at all! MAybe it's just full for the whole summer? But surely not. :/
 
because they're package tour ops. pile em in pile em high. they'll be allocating rooms on arrival to get the most economical use of their allocation of rooms (allegedly)
 
just done a dummy booking on first choice.you can still book don toni resort.all they have done is re branded it.this was flying from any east mids airport.
