If any  (Babs  )

At the moment I'm with Fitness First, which works out well for me, they've got a gym in Camden, where I work, and also in Leyton, near Jon (so I can go at weekends). BUT! If I get this new job, it'll be in Tott Crt Rd, does anyone know of any better gyms around that way :?:

I want it still to be reasonably priced, no Holmes Place for me Ahhthankeee!

Gym Box is near there.. no idea if it's any good though!

I go to Vie Health in farringdon 2mins from my flat 8)

yes, yes...I know!!!

Oasis, behind centrepoint and at the bottom of endall st..

huge with 2 pools, and offcialy the cheapest gym in the world...i was 34 quid a month or something for everything, free caipoera classes etc...

that was a corporate membership, but it's not much more than that anyway...

and you can get the corporate just by telling them that you'll get loads of people from your work to join etc...

I saw a really fit girl walking out of there yesterday, if that's any incentive

Esporta....

I used to go there then Fitness first cause mates went there, then Top Notch then Cannons...but none were anywhere near as good all round/overall as Esporta so i went back there.

virgin active is very good too but often full of families and kids...

oasis is good cause it's a good location and mega cheap, but i actually just joined holmes place today...

holmes place is pretty expensive i.e 78 quid a month, but i think it's worth it, as it's nice being able to go for saunas etc at the weekend..

the little things wind me up about the cheapo gyms as well..

i.e having to bring a towel, locker money etc...

esporta is also very good.

Next Generation Gym In Bristol

Pretty good overall facilities although it does have a fair share of Kids running around at the weekends and frustrating lack of any maintanance on any of the equipent  lost count of the no. of times I've pointed out the ends are loose on the dumbells. Yesterday me and a mate were planning a staged accident to enable them to sue them for millions :P

Fitness First cos we get both our memberships FOC ;)

Luck has it, it's on my route home and it's the best of their Sheffield branches.

I actually go to the Glasgow University gym. Having been to Esporta and Next Generation, I much prefer it as they're no posers so you can feel quite comfortable walking about in an old t-shirt and a pair of tracksuit bottoms! It's also really reasonably priced but with great classes and facilities.

Possibly a tad too far for you to travel though, Becki. ;)

Hmmm I was looking for something within the 300mile radius ;)

Top Notch gym under London Bridge...but that's no use to you love!
My advice - stick with Fitness First cos they're pretty much everywhere and you can use your membership card in all of them.

unlike esporta (which pi$$es me mate off no end - and he pays about 50-60 per month!)

I think we have possibly THE poseyest gym in the country here in Loughborough. Powerbase on campus is where all the GB athletes/England cricket squad/all E.I.S players train. I was a member last year and my god you can smell the testosterone as you walked in... and thats just the women!!
Am at L.A fitness now as its just round the corner from the flat and a really nice place too.

Greens - Where fitness comes natrually :? Apparently :?: Lccated behind Corn Exchange in West Edinburgh.

Got a corporate deal through work - its ok but really busy every night with all these chubbies who are only likely to last another 2 weeks max
