What Football Team Do Ibiza's Kids Support?

So the missus' nephew moves to Ibiza shortly. He's five and we want to get him a footy shirt that will ingratiate him with his new classmates.

Barcelona?
 
A few times when singing karaoke in Ibiza, I changed the lyrics from New York New York to West Ham and the crowd loved it. :lol:
 
Its a shame there is not an Ibiza FC, I know Santa Eulia and san an have a team but Ibiza town seem to go pop regularly, I like my footie and support a lower league side and wouldnt swap it for glory hunting any day.

Why Barca?

Last year September watched PD Santa Eulalia v Formentera, cracking atmosphere with 100 away fans banging drums and having a good sing song.

There is also CF Sant Rafel & Atletico Isleño (Ibiza Town)

Strangley a huge Heart of Midlothian FC support in Ibiza. Something to do with some guys from Edinburgh that emigrated there in the sixties.

I saw about 20 kids in Hearts strips last year.
 
definitely barça. someone told me ibiza has the proportion of FCB fans anywhere in the world. given that there isn't many people.

they are still plenty of real madrid fans in the schools but defo barça.

if you are in ibiza.. the locals will probably tell you they are
either ambivalent

pro barca
pro madrid
or Mallorca which is the club that is in the other island...

but in this board man????


all English speakers.. so I take it that they are into the premiership...
 
I personally like all the teams from madrid

madrid and
atletico de madrid

minus getafe.. which is really far.

mallorca are doing awful this year.
