Weekend Rundowns...

No one?????

Ok well my weekend consisted of...

Fri: Going to the neighbours for drinks and a bit of debauchery (nope that didnt include car keys in a bowl!!) What a really funny night - stumbled back to ours - all 15 foot of pathway - drunken, giggly and full of energy still..... around 2.30am - I can see this being the way forward now.....:lol::lol:

Sat: worst hangover - got up, had a bath then walked to the shops for newspapers and fresh air around 11.30am - knew I was still drunk when I wolfed down 2 Greggs pasties at the risk of really bad indigestion!!

2pm - really really bad indigestion - came home suffered - pj's on by 6pm - Chinese banquet delivered by 7pm.

Sun: Long walks, Sunday papers, football, films, pizza.......

All in all a nice weekend - not too much debauchery, but slightly too much unhealthy food and alcohol but hey ho!!!!

Mine was a fab weekend

Friday - stayed in for a cosy night.

Saturday - Costa Coffee with gal pal for a catch up & a chat, she had a few things she wanted to get off her mind (more about that later) but shes a bit down about life in general, I tried to say its this time of year & we all feel a bit like it but she thinks there is more to it.

Sat night - out for friends leaving drinks, actually turned out to be a really really good night, she had hired the top of a really nice winebar/cosy pub near to us and loads turned up to see her off - shes going for 6 months next weekend! - but was great fun as all the girlies were together drinking wine, dancing etc, trying to console her newish boyfriend (hes not going travelling with her) then went to local nightclub with my friend I said about earlier (moody one) and tried to hunt down the BF as we were meeting for birthday drinks with him and his crowd then she was trying to hunt down her BF through his mates (dont ask). But we all ended up being in the same place which was cool, lots of dancing around to Valerie on sofas (at one point), funniest thing about it was one of my BFs bestest mates is someone I went to school with so have known since about the age of 4 so lots of funny laughs about various oddball teachers, school in general!
The night ended up a bit rubbishy though because BF ended up splitting his trousers on the leg due to too much over enthusiastic jumping around/generally being hammered/his mate falling on him so this gave him the hump and he wanted to go - to be fair we were probably both best off going, v v drunk.
Moody friend I said about hasnt spoken to me since as she was "supposedly" very upset I didnt say bye - this was a text I got from her BF at 3am in the morning - yet she was nowhere to be seen at the time & I did apologise twice on text yesterday - why are girls so much hard work sometimes :spank:

Sunday - took the BF to Gordon Ramseys at Claridges for lunch as a birthday surprise. Was oh so very posh  & lovely & well appreciated of course

Fri - nothing much

Sat - Tom took me out for cocktails and then to Scott's for my birthday meal - absolutely amazing restaurant, I can see why it has been named the top restaurant in London, would def recommend it for a special occasion

Sun - Sunday lunch sesh at the Defectors Weld with all my lovely friends

Mine was a nightmare... but fun! 2 nights, 10 clubs, about 20 liters of beer.

Friday - Attended a work-related reception with great food and open bar :D Home for a change of clothes and then met up with friends at The Apartment for drinks. From there to a new club called Soho Rooms. Followed that up with an hour at The Most. Then on to Dyagilev for a while. In the morning, headed down to Arka for after-hours but it was a bit sparse so we finished up at Garage.

Saturday - Slept the afternoon away before getting up and going to SportLand for the football. Back home for a power nap and then joined some mates on a "safari" to random clubs well outside of the center. Started at Pharoah, followed by Tuning Hall (we didn't go inside this one because the mass of drugged-up 20-year-old boys outside frightened us ), then to Zona, then G-Club before heading back to the relative comforts of the center and spending the rest of the night at Opera. Highlights from Zona included the topless go-go dancer with poor boob job and 3-meter python, and the group of drugged-up muscle boys head-butting each other in the chest

Sunday - Did not make it out of bed until evening. Thankfully supplied with carry-out food by the missus. Watched the first 2 episodes of the Sarah Connor Chronicles.

Is next weekend the debaucherous one then????:lol::lol::lol:

Lol, yes this was my 'grown-up' civilised one to reflect my status as an old married woman

'Normal' service will be resumed next wkend

Pleased to hear that - I thought for one nano-second that you had lost the plot and embraced this "married & over 30" malarky a bit too much... :lol::lol:

Everyone is taking it easy in January it seems.......

Sat: Shelley made a lovely beef stroganoff with organic fillet, skinny fries & rice, copios amounts of vino. (Shelley came into my office early in the evening asking for a ruler, I was puzzled but said nothing. When the main course was served, I had to ask "Why did you need the ruler?". "Well the skinny fries were meant to be 3mm x 3mm x 10mm. After doing one potato I realised it would take me too long to measure them all." was her reply! I couldn't stop laughing for 5 minutes.

Sun: Prepared the remainder of the Saturdays meal, managed to deposit an entire plate of stroganoff all over the floor via a collision with the kitchen door in my rush to serve the food before the film started :( We had to share one portion after I had removed the kitched door that I had collided with:oops:

How the hell I have managed to spin a quiet, done nothing weekend out so much is worrying:confused:

Best thing I've read all day!

(but well done to her for serving potatoes with beef stroganoff, as is the tradition here.... I usually go for noodles as per the American adaptation of the dish)

Anyhow...I had, in keeping with the rest of this month, had a chilled out one. Stayed in both nights, cooked the second, went for a curry the first.

Lots of painting, and that was about that. Rock and funkin roll!

Think I'm gonna turn either gay or a-sexual, havn't decided yet as I seem to hate girls and girls hate me lately. Cheery cheery, Slinky Friday. Toon Arse in the cup Saturday straight from Slinky.

what did you have?

I've just got table sorted for the fat duck in Bray. Snail Porridge here I come.

I had a caesar salad with some kind of dressing - consisted of baby gem lettuces, strips of crispy bacon, strips of fish & a poached egg on top. Main course I had beef, french beans, charlotte potatoes and a yorkshire pudding, with a lovely tasty gravy/dressing over the top. Then dessert was passion fruit brulee on top of what looked like a fruit cookie, with bitter chocolate sorbet on top.

Sorry for the "great" descriptions but im not as much of a food connoiseur as I would like to be.

Was lovely though, was what you call "proper" food none of this pasta and sauce malarkey I get at home :p

m'am - I must apologise!!

However, I have not been on facebook for 2/3 weeks - I have no PC at home and it is banned in work!!

I will find a way I will I will!

I am terrible when I need updates - I havent slept since I pm'd you knowing that you have this information and I dont....:lol::lol:
