Its Monday, its the start of a long week after last weeks short one, so I thought I would start off this thread even though it was more then likely a quiet weekend for most people..........

Fri - Stayed in to watch a bit of telly ended up watching Casino (been told by my mother more then enough times what a brilliant film it is) but sadly fell asleep before the end :spank:

Sat - Shopping at Lakeside, what a load of old rubbish, the shops dont seem to have anything half decent in them, and I didnt even try with the sales bits. Im starting to hate Lakeside more and more it seems to be more and more full of chavs and wannabes. Do not like. The day was nice though as met up with a close buddy I didnt see much over xmas due to illness so we had a nice Wagamamas lunch and caught up on various xmas gossip etc etc

Sun - Bit of food shopping, with the attempt for the 9873289 time to eat healthy so bought lots of fruit and veg as you do. Then headed to Ikea for some bedroom decorating ideas, again wasnt really impressed. I gave up in the end, too many people and too much to look at :spank:

I really am getting irritable in my old age :p

Saturday - My birthday :)
Night out with friends with a 'real moustache' theme. Not sure if we looked very camp or like rough shipyard workers but it was pretty funny....and a late one.

Sunday - Woken up by Jam Jnr at 9am  felt very rough and managed to get through the morning but cut my head open later in the day opening the car door and not quite timing it right. Caught the point of the door just above my right eye and suffered a nice egg on the head, small but deep cut and concussion later on. At my age I should know better!

Monday - Working from home

Saturday - My birthday :)

It was my birthday too on Saturday :) Many Happy Returns!

Friday - Jon took me out for a lovely meal at Andrew Edumnds on Soho. Really nice restaurant, tiny little place with hand written menus and only wine to drink. Really great atmosphere inside and great food too!

Saturday - Brunch in Wanstead then I was in the hairdressers for three hours being made beautiful. Friends came round to ours for pre-drinks from 5pm onwards, then headed to Hoxton Bar and Grill for around 7pm to meet everyone else. Had a really good night in here, thanks to everyone who recommended it. We managed to reserve a big enough space for our group, the dancefloor area was packed from 9pm onwards and we all had a good boogie in there. I was told that the bar was a bit pricey but as I didn't buy a drink all night it didnt affect me
Left there at 2am and got a cab home, after drinks at mine then collapsed in bed at about 4am.

Sunday - woke up feeling qute ropey, my mum and dad came round ours at 1pm then we had a roast in wanstead. Few drinks in our local pub then back home for an early night.

Really great weekend, shame I cant be the birthday princess every week lol

Was a good boy this weekend as my body was up for total collapse post xmas.

Friday, popped round to mates for a couple of cans & watched Carlitto's Way.

Saturday watched my old rugby boys beat the local rivals. All good. Then to the Met in W Dids, Mancunica for friends birthday. Usual tw$tty crowd in there, all pink t shirts and funny hair cuts (me, sounding old, never?!).

Sunday, all day painting interspersed with football watching. By god Newcastle are crap.

Fri - Went to the gym for the first time since before xmas, good to get the blood pumpipng rouind the system without the aid of toxins, chilled out and played xbox.

Sat - Up and at em, played golf, domestic bliss and then went to the grandparents with rest of the outlaws (the kids not the adults) for dinner, had a few beers and good laughs.

Sun - Up again for golf (man I've got a good wife :lol:) and then home for food and plugged in my xbox live for the first time since I've had it (over a year!!!!) and then crashed ready for the onslaught at work this week!

highlight of my weekend is spotting my 1st ever Kingfisher!

nice weekend - as I had to get my head around this coming back to work malarky...

Fri: day out at the beach, dinner on the way home and a chill night

Sat: Depressing football day, but out for drinks and a gorgeous curry on the evening - best indian restaurant we have been to in years, so really happy to have discovered it..

Sun: Checked Lottery tickets, hadn't won so Ironed work clothes which I have ignored for 2 weeks - very depressing feeling.......

Do they still not believe your 18 down the local Indian?!;)

Fri - Churned through a couple of bottles of somethign Marlborough wine in record time with an old work colleague, then hooked up with the Old Man and his pals locally.

Sat - Aforementioned visit to Hoxton Bar and Grill - to nick a phrase off a pal, it was like Tiger Tiger for the trendy shoreditch/clapham types . Great fun as always. All a bit of a blur come closing time ;)

Friday - Jon took me out for a lovely meal at Andrew Edumnds on Soho. Really nice restaurant, tiny little place with hand written menus and only wine to drink. Really great atmosphere inside and great food too!

Yeah, nice little restaurant that one. Proper homely, though in the middle of the West End

Weekend fun in Brighton culminating in the new Oceana there, which wasn't too special but fun time had by all. Got back to watch Stoke v Toon and it was 90 minutes out of my life I will never get back, absolutely painful. Still, Arsenal next away, woopee.

nothing unless you count a light session in the gym yesterday, asides from that stayed indoors -TV/Internet/Music..January for the most part is always quiet, im skint after Xmas and NYE.:(

Belated happy birthdays to the Jamster and Beckiboo! :D

My weekend was mostly spent making my way back home from a wonderful vacation.

Friday - Checked out of hotel in Buenos Aires. Visited the Japanese gardens, had lunch in the port, took a second trip over to La Boca, caught the late evening flight back to the States.

Saturday - Arrived in the US, dropped off bags at the parents', went downtown for some last minute shopping, came back and watched some American football with Dad with requisite beer & pizza.

Sunday - Big breakfast with the family, then one last shopping trip. Picked up the parents and went to see a movie (I Am Legend) then out to a seafood dinner at a restaurant on the bay. Back home to pack.

Monday - Flew to Atlanta, had a long layover so we went downtown for a walk and lovely lunch on the 2nd-floor terrace of a nice Mexican restaurant, then afternoon overnight flight back to Moscow.

It's -15 C here right now... 35 degrees less than at my parents and 45 degrees less than in Buenos Aires
