Me first. Not going to be an exciting one!

After a hardcore week of auditing training in fancy london, this weekend consisted of friday poping round to my mates house to play pool. One of the pleasant advantages of being a bit older is that this can involve a couple of bottles of Chateux Margeux. Stunning stuff.

Sat, to pub for a pretty damn fine LFC performance (altho what the hell is Rafa up to? I could start a whole thread..) then chilled for rest of day.

Sunday, just taken over a load of new projects so in work all day scrating my head.

altho what the hell is Rafa up to? I could start a whole thread..
Shocking stuff, isn't it? Exactly the kind of thing that spelt the beginning of the end for Mourinho...

Friday - spent 12 hours flying from the Russian Far East back to Moscow. Ugh.

Saturday - Got up, went to the market to find a turkey, spent the afternoon cooking it along with stuffing, gravy and corn bread. Took all this over to a friend's place for a belated Thanksgiving dinner party.

Later on, met up with 2 visiting Londoners (friends of a friend) whom we then took on a club crawl from Denis Simachev Bar to The Most to Rai to Dyagilev :eek::eek: The highlight was definitely The Most where Joey Negro was spinning and Katherine Ellis did a live set with all her hits (Fascinated, Make a Move on Me, Lost, etc.). I was dancing next to the stage during her performance and she held the mic down for me to sing along on Lost in front of the whole club

Sunday - Saturday's excessive alcohol consumption meant I was basically incapacitated for the whole day. Went out for a Central Asian dinner with the visiting Brits.

.

It's almost as if he is trying to edge himself out. I can not believe he would be so kak handed and childish by accident. Irrespective of the disagreements that must happen regularly at that level of football, I fail to see how the owners deserve that little respect.

PS - JM, have you seen the fantasy footy? Quick trip to humblesville required for me!

Friday - Intense Uni work

Saturday - Watched a shocking Toon performance. Went to see Cherries get bummed by Oldham 3 - 0 at home, had a little sit in to get Kevin Bond out...
...Went to see Bill Bailey Live - Awesome. Best stand up available, laughing start to finish, great show. Finished a nice little bar and home.

Sunday - Played football in morning, suspected broken foot, doctors tomorrow. Then have to do intense Uni work all day and all tonight right up until 9AM for deadline tomorrow. Hence, wasting time on here at 2AM.

Monday - Sleep all day and go disco mental tomorrow night. I'm having a "Margerita Monday", don't really know what is in one but we're having one if I can get my hands on some ASDA Smart Price Gin and a tub of salt. Then go see Kasabian DJ set ( just Serj I think. )

My weekend was lovely and quiet but after the last 2 weekends and xmas coming up it was well deserved.

Friday stayed in and watched a bit of telly, generally chilling out.

Saturday, sauna and spa in morn with best buddie just for a bit of a catch up/gossip. Did nothing for the rest of the day except watch random programmes on Sky (ive just had it fitted so im like a child in a sweet shop), lazy evening watching Alan Carrs new dvd, v. funny.

Sunday absolutely nothing all morning, went to David Lloyd gym on a 12 day free pass courtesy of my friend, she took me on a very extreme workout, we actually spent 2 and a half hours in the gym, longest time ever, so feeling quite awake and healthy today, hope to keep it up

lovely long weekend in derry visiting the in-laws. highlight was visiting granny-in-law, doing her very best (unintentional) father ted impression - 'will ye have a cup of tea? go on go on go on go on go on go on go on go on. Will ye have a wee biscuit? go on go on go on go on....' etc etc... also plenty of guiness, seafood and bracing walks along the donegal coast... stunning scenery, and not a soul to be seen. :D:D:D:D:D:D:D:D/10

A weekend of chilling - fantastic!!

Sat: go up and pottered - made some bird feeders  (was like Blue Peter:lol::lol:) next week an advent candle holder from some tinsel and 2 coathangers!!!) lay around reading books and chilling then Strictly Come Dancing and Robin Hood the highlight of Saturday (other than Phil screaming 7-1, 7-1 down the phone - bless him...:lol::lol::lol:)

Sun: more of the same, watched INXS weekend on Bio channel for a perv, papers, eating, chilling

Blissfull weekend - not a hint of madness or random activities....

Fri - was meant to be going iceskating but Tom had a 'missing car key incident' which meant he didn't get home til later (I think he did it deliberately to miss out on the skating :spank::lol:) so went out for Thai instead

Sat - went to Walthomstow Dogs which was an experience in itself  Thought the dog racing was awful, so cruel  Plus one poor dog got badly injured and was laid down for ages and then it's Keeper had to come and carry it off the track :cry::cry: I refused to watch the racing or get involved with the betting but had a good night drinking and gassing

Sun - long dog walk thru Ealing's various parks to blow the hangover away and then out for Bloody Marys and huge lunch with Tom's parents at Charlotte's Place which is my new fave Sunday restaurant

Friday: Met my brother after work for drinks @ the Frankfurt Xmas market, couple of mulled wines and then back home. Apparently i smelt of booze all night?

Sat: Joey got his hair done @ the slowest hairdressers in the world, went to visit my nan & my mom & i stayed in doing girlie things while Joey went out. Had a horrible dream about being stabbed .

Sun: Went into Birmingham for sushi in the selfridges/Bullring. Car Park was full at 11.30am (30 mins after shops opened) 1000+ spaces . Had sushi & a coffee & then went to visit my other Nan & Dad & then had to go over to other Nan before going home to sort out her computer  nans + technology = :spank:.

Highlight of my day so far, just seen a pair of pigeon wings (no body) on the pavement & almost spent £45 in clintons on xmas cards (robbing b@stards).

Fri - Had a totally unecessary 5am finish on Thurs and then up for work at 730am so was finished by the pm. Was meant to go to a boat party but post-work nap meant I overslept and when I got to the pier at Westminister Bridge, quel suprise I had missed the boat.

Quiet evening back at the flat went off-plan when I popped out to say a quick hello to a mate in the area and ended up bumping into a chick I met and got on v well with in Ibiza ;)...about 4am got a call from friend I was originally meant to meet saying they were leaving Trailertrash and heading to Aquarium and would I care to join them. Was there from 4am till 9am which felt slightly odd being so sober. Cool if slightly mixed bag of a crowd and not too busy but good fun.

Sat - Slept. Again had a party to go to but totally overslept...till Sun morning basically

Sun - Had a few uni mates over for a Poker session which was a nice relaxing way to spend a Sunday.

Youre like me - had to arrange a "works night out" at our track in Newcastle and go along to sort out the bar tabs - I spent the whole time "hiding" from the racing as I hated it with a passion, I watched one greyhound go arse over tit - properly sommersaulted over itself - I was convinced it had broken its neck and got into a state..... sat in the bar and refused to watch anymore.

Still it wasnt as bad as nearly having my own neck broken at a previous event at Sunderland Dogs by a girl behind me in the Q for Pie & Peas when again I didnt watch the racing but got drunk and said to my mate (in granted, a quite loud voice) "bloody hell have you seen the state of that one - Britney Spears on HRT!!" (she was dressed in short tartan skirt, over the knee socks, tight white T shirt and plaits....(not fancy dress, just normal Friday dressed up !!) and the lass behind me poked me in the back and said "here, that's me mother you're ****ing slaggin off"......

I nearly died, literally........ :oops::oops::oops::oops:

Fri - Gym sesh then home for food with the wife and the mother in law who is staying with us for two weeks :cry::lol: while her other daughter gets married. had wine and caught up on goings on since we last saw her at our wedding!

Sat - Early doors for golf.....absolutley baltic weather conditions but good game had by all, then domestic bliss, out for food in evening to my wife's old bosses house and then earlyish night.

Sun - Big family day due to impending wedding of sister in law this sat, helping her with all manner of stuff relating round the wedding, good laugh had by all, then all ten of us imposed ourselves on the grandparents house, big nosh up with beers, home to watch top gear and long way down (this programme is getting better and better).

Only had about 7 units of alcohol all weekend in preparation for this weekends marathon drink at the wedding......its going to hurt!

agreed. The dogs really does attract some of the roughest old boilers. There is nowt worth hunting there. My weekend was pretty cool. Family 50th birthday was much fun due to free bar. Local party on fri night was ott,met lots of mates old and new. Behaved appalingly (in a good way) met several blokes who are like me, spurs fans marooned in deepest Goonerland. And even met someone who makes bespoke bass guitars for a living which is possibly a first for me!
