Thursday - Ame at PP - Seriously amazing stuff, genuinely think there's no better place to hear such a dj set, and no better dj's to have down there!
Actually, at risk of digressing (though technically not), does anyone understand when I say that, for about an hour or two in there, it got to that ultra rare point where the music, setting, drink and other stuff puts you RIGHT on the edge of losing it, right where it oh-so-nearly gets on top - though you juuuuust manage to maintain sanity and
perfect clarity? I can only describe it as like a surfer on the very tip of a masssive wave. silly I know, and I was there on Thursday night!
Anyway, due to my 3 (two human and one electronic!) alarm clocks failing on me, I crawled into work Friday around midday using the back staircase (to avoid the bosses!), and due to absent line managers, after a few sly phonecalls I had managed to completely hide my absence, and withion the hour I was down the curry house for lunch with my colleagues, thoroughly pleased with myself!
Had a well deserved rest Friday night!
Saturday - played with myself (musically) during the day in preperation for this Saturdays extravaganza! In the evening I took TPCMX (as I think Buckleys code has it?!) out, started off mooching around some c-list Covent Garden haunts (Jewel nightclub wtf?! - notable only because I used the Jedi Mind Trick to get us in there when the clown on the door was asking us for a tenner each for some supposedly trendy bar with those silly glass things you get on costume jewellery for decoration! Was fun people watching though

).
Then ended up going to Basement Jaxx at Plan B for an apparently impromptu unannouced gig. Every time I go there I have an ace time and wonder why I don't go there more often, and this was no exception. Can't say I was feeling the BJ's music that much though the disco guy downstairs made up for it, and when I got the request to leave early doors my arm didn't need too mch twisting
Sunday - Sleeping and eating, and little else. Oh, and Star Wars was on TV, so felt morally obliged to watch it again. Still get's me each time Obi Wan decides to chuck it all in, and inside I screamed along with Luke "Noooo"

, and just as the tear was trickling down my cheek, the reassuring tones of Obi tell Luke to run, and all is right in the world again

!
Haven't felt this fresh on a Monday for YEARS! And have might aswell have re-wrote War and Peace a few times considering the amount of work and emails I've got through!
