.... or is everyone still funked

Mine was quiet and healthy

Sat: 4hr coastal trek in morning - followed by big fry up and loads of cups of Tea. Dinner at Japanese restaurant at night - 2 beers only!!!

Sun: Long lie in, tea and papers in bed, then spent 4hrs working doing my own bloody appraisal for work - what's that all about FFS!!! Early night - 1 glass of wine...

So no dying of friend's hair, setting fire to bears or dressing up lesbians in ball gowns..... a controlled and sensible weekend...

Friday - Dirty South, Seb Fontaine - Eperleptic

Saturday - Football, depression.

Sunday - Our football called off, watched football, good, more depression.

Today - More depression, first year student bar crawl tonight, rat central, happy again.

Fri - few post-work drinks reuniting TCR

Sat - got the 'fro beehived in the day  At night met some of the usual suspects for pre-Ministry drinks in Elephant & Castle. Was really looking forward to being back where I belong on the podium cos with Ibiza hols, festivals, weddings and all that malarky felt like I'd hardly been out clubbing in London over the last few months. Ministry didn't disappoint at all - when we got there at 11.30pm was already heaving and Marc was playing a blinder in the Bar. Went into the Box for the last bit of Alex Metric who was very good, then it was time for the Little Bald Vegan :D Well what can I say Moby was absolutely fab, from the word go it was one exploding moment after another - def one of my sets of the year :D After Moby Ingrosso came on and did all what he does best and all things Swedish :D All got very confusing over the last few hours when Katie popped up :spank: Left at the end not knowing who we were or where we were so the journey home was most amusing :spank: Got home drank lots of wine and Baileys then knocked ourselves out with Nightnurse.

Got completly twatted at gods kitchen on some rather dodgy substances so much so that i was dancing to complete silence with the lights up at the end of the night:oops:Had to stay an extra night in brum cos i was incapable of even moving8)

where did you go pups?

Tynemouth - St Mary's Island then back again for the huuuge fry up in The Land of Green Ginger - you know - the converted church in Tynemouth Village??

Blisters like you would not believe - need some proper walking shoes me thinks - running trainers just dont support my old ankles...:lol::lol:

Friday - went for a nice meal to a local pub, was a last minute thing but nice and cosy, proper wintery pub :)

Saturday - meant to get up and go pilates (thats meant to be my new fitness regime) but was too lazy so got up about 10, went to Southend, mooched round the shops with a friend even though I had no money to spend, then had a Starbucks to cheer ourselves up. Quiet evening in.

Sunday - went horse riding with a friend, used to ride years ago but gave up when I was about 16. Would like to take it up again as a hobby but realised I need a bit of practice first to get back in it. My friends friend has a horse that needs looking after at weekends so might take up that offer. Got absolutely drenched, so went home for a nice hot bath. Then out for a supposed roast (they had none left) in the evening with 2 girl pals, one who has just finished with her boyfriend - messy affair - so felt quite drained after that so went home to bed, was asleep by 10 8O:lol:

Friday - Few beers indoors

Saturday - Watched Celtic beat Motherwell comfortably with a Scott McDonald hatrick 8)
went to the Pet Shop Boys Concert which was brilliant, they put on a superb show, legends
went to town for some drinks, back to mine for a party, not as many as last time bit still a top nite,i played a very good set (even if i do say so myself) but my mate played the set of his life,Rave and House classics for 5 hours solid, even the Polish people who were present who had never heard any Hardcore before were asking what type of music this was and how come you don't hear it in any clubs, they all said it was the best music they've ever heard.

Sunday - Woke up at 8pm  had some good, got sick went to bed.

Monday - Thank f*ck it's a bank holiday,just chilling.

Thursday - Ame at PP - Seriously amazing stuff, genuinely think there's no better place to hear such a dj set, and no better dj's to have down there!

Actually, at risk of digressing (though technically not), does anyone understand when I say that, for about an hour or two in there, it got to that ultra rare point where the music, setting, drink and other stuff puts you RIGHT on the edge of losing it, right where it oh-so-nearly gets on top - though you juuuuust manage to maintain sanity and perfect clarity? I can only describe it as like a surfer on the very tip of a masssive wave. silly I know, and I was there on Thursday night!

Anyway, due to my 3 (two human and one electronic!) alarm clocks failing on me, I crawled into work Friday around midday using the back staircase (to avoid the bosses!), and due to absent line managers, after a few sly phonecalls I had managed to completely hide my absence, and withion the hour I was down the curry house for lunch with my colleagues, thoroughly pleased with myself!

Had a well deserved rest Friday night!

Saturday - played with myself (musically) during the day in preperation for this Saturdays extravaganza! In the evening I took TPCMX (as I think Buckleys code has it?!) out, started off mooching around some c-list Covent Garden haunts (Jewel nightclub wtf?! - notable only because I used the Jedi Mind Trick to get us in there when the clown on the door was asking us for a tenner each for some supposedly trendy bar with those silly glass things you get on costume jewellery for decoration! Was fun people watching though:lol:).

Then ended up going to Basement Jaxx at Plan B for an apparently impromptu unannouced gig. Every time I go there I have an ace time and wonder why I don't go there more often, and this was no exception. Can't say I was feeling the BJ's music that much though the disco guy downstairs made up for it, and when I got the request to leave early doors my arm didn't need too mch twisting ;)

Sunday - Sleeping and eating, and little else. Oh, and Star Wars was on TV, so felt morally obliged to watch it again. Still get's me each time Obi Wan decides to chuck it all in, and inside I screamed along with Luke "Noooo":cry::cry:, and just as the tear was trickling down my cheek, the reassuring tones of Obi tell Luke to run, and all is right in the world again :p!

Haven't felt this fresh on a Monday for YEARS! And have might aswell have re-wrote War and Peace a few times considering the amount of work and emails I've got through!:D:D

Photos of the B-hive please....

Oh and I have found a great alternative to Nightnurse - Lloyds Pharmacy's own extra strong sleeping tablets - no matter what you have done and how much of it - out like a light - with exceptional dreams.... Last Sunday I woke to find myself looking for my Li Lo as I was convinced I was still in the villa back in Ibiza and fancied a dip.......:lol::lol:

one of those films and can watch over and over again 8)

Like Sarah said, Moby was brilliant, as was Ingrosso. Played so many tracks i love which i'd not heard in a while..
Theres one with spanish words which go something like:
"a la fiestaaaaaaa"

So good to see him really enjoying himself behind the decks too 8)

Thanks for the tip Nurse PL - I could do with alternative sleeping methods cos I think I'm becoming addicted to Nightnurse :?

fri - went to a friend's birthday party (burlesque theme) in hoxton, which was good fun

sat - day - popped over to fulham, then onto the bridge, resisted singing blue moon but couldn't contain a couple of "go on micah my son" when he piled into lampard.

night - had more drinkypoos near angel, then went to turnmills where everyone had fancy dress on. ended up in ministry and moby/ingrosso were both quality. heather graham fit! nice to see everyone!

sun - went to anfield, best game for a while, we've missed xabi immensely. arsenal = future champs.

Torture Garden - brilliant fun

Trade - still the best club London has ever seen by a million miles. Never been anywhere so twisted and derranged in my entire life. It's just ridiculous.

Back to work today - urgh.

Anyway, due to my 3 (two human and one electronic!) alarm clocks failing on me,

wow, mummy and daddy X!

sat: went to see Hairspray at the theatre. Huge amounts of fun. A girl who used to work for me until very recently is playing the lead so we went to give her a shout. Leanne was really excellent, for a big girl she sure can move.

the show has everyting you could possibly want, black guys singing, fat girls dancing, a man dressed as a woman and 60's music.

btw, Michael Ball was a revelation, who would have thought he could be so funny! he may be wearing a fat suit but those double chins and bingo wings are certianly for real

the press night is tonight so my thoughts are with Leanne.

Wonderful pre-Halloween weekend. :D

Friday - After work, went shopping for my Halloween costume. Got a call along the way which necessitated me trekking out to the airport to change our plane tickets  then back home to get ready and straight out to Club XIII for their annual Halloween bash. Ron Carroll absolutely rocked the place :D :D (though he only sang along to a couple of tunes) followed by Jorge from Who Da Funk who was decent if a bit obvious. As closing time approached, I apparently popped across the street for a small carry-out pizza on the way home, as evidenced by a pizza box found in the morning. Got very little sleep before...

Saturday - Caught a plane to London. Got to Stamford Bridge just in time to find Grego and head to the stands to see a clinical dismantling of Man City 8) 8) 8) Boring boring Chelsea! After-match drinks with my usual post-game crew, followed by an impromptu run to Kensington for curry and more drinks. Then to Turnmills where I just missed Anil Chawla but caught some great tunes by Streetlife DJs and Etienne de Crecy. Time change meant it was still relatively early so I hopped over to Ministry for Sebastian Ingrosso. Was very pleased to see the very good Ingrosso like the one I saw earlier this year at Fabrique Moscow and not the very poor one I saw at F*** Me I'm Famous @ Pacha Ibiza. Great tunes and great to see some of the Spotlight gang.

Sunday - Dragged my damaged head out of bed and went to Wembley for the American football. Not the best match ever but still fun to see an NFL match in London. Made our way back to Chelsea and relaxed a bit before passing out.

Managed to get up at an ungodly hour to get my new Russian visa taken care of on Monday, as well as do a little work, stop by the office, a bit of shopping, two meals and a movie (Eastern Promises, not recommended), all despite being remarkably hung-over most of the day! Finally got some decent sleep Monday night.

Was a very good boy. Friday, a few drinks in Chorlton. Saturday, bit of revision, watched mate play rugby & stayed in with el missus & cooked din dins. Cooked pan fried scallops, served with marinaded pepperm for starter. Fajitas for main & ok its tesco finest, but chocy tart for pudd. Bottle of chateu neuf du pap to wash. Was in the good books. Sunday, more revision then the game.

Arsenal, be jesus, they look good. I fear for us and I fear for rafa.

Not as planned!! Had to scoot out of town!!

Not only did I miss Street Life Session & Moby, but it transpires Grego was in my Flat, and I still didn't get to meet him!!
