weekend rundowns...

had my 1st gig down at the Abbey with Damo sharing the deck duties (cheers buddy, lovely to meet yr missus too - lucky lucky boy)...

pissing down the whole night didnt help... but made the best of it.

strangest request of the night by a very drunk russian... after much deciphering by damo "hotel california".....

fri - Daniel Bell @ Sub Club - blinding night - good drink and great music - in the words of fatphil - i broke my Sb Club cherry

sat - not out as had to pick my missus up from the airport after her being at a conference in Oslo most of the week - lovely to have her back

sun - lazing about all day and night
 
Drifted in and out of consciousness and helped the Pilchard move into the Pilch-pad.

Watched Glastonbury, got upset about being home and thought longingly about September. :lol:
 
Watched a shed load of Glastonbury too

watching Bloc Party, Maximo Park and of course, Babyshambles - got me v.excited about T in the Park
 
Celebrated Sant Joan (Summer solstice) with a bunch of very good friends being very naughty here:

Ended dancing in the woods with the staff and got home around 7 am

Brilliant night :D
 
yeah it took 3 russians to explain hotel california. Each one struggled and just said 'russian music' then called over their mate. All of them seemed to have the same level of dialect so they were fighting a losing battle until the rendition began. :lol:

Friday - Started off with the Nude after-party in the morning. Bit of sleep, then great dinner at Sa Punta :D

Saturday - Day at the beach in Cala de Boix, then dinner at Cardomom Club in Santa Eularia. A little disco nap and then off to Pacha for David Morales and Danny Rampling. Ace 8)

Sunday - We Love...@ Space :D Took an evening break for dinner at Moorea's and a few drinks at Kopi, then back to Space for more fun.

hello :D :D :D lovely to meet you and irina!! what was nude like? we made it to the door, then the excesses of the previous night coupled with the realisation that we only had 2 full days left made us turn away and head home... if it had been on the beach, then different story!
 
friday am - Monza, then escaped Magda's bleepy whoooshy scratchyness to swing by nude. Stood outside for 5 mins, then decided to skip it and get some sleep. Got up at 12, went to the beach for sunshine, then showered and drove to Atzaro for some vino rosado, which was gorgeous as ever. (Both the place and the vino!) Helped our friends plan their wedding there (we wish!!!) then drove over to sunset ashram for yummy food and sunset. Stopped off at San Josep on the way back to meet more friends for a few cervezas. Sat - breakfast at hostel del parque, shopping, then last few hours at the beach. Checked out, went for tapas in plaza del parque, then on to Cap des Falco for sunset and sangria. Drove to airport - got home about 4.30am. Most of sunday was spent booking next holiday, washing and feeling miserable. Apart from this the weekend was most definitely:

Friday, early pints in the White Horse, forking hammered, asleep on the sofa before 1030!!

Saturday, haircut, then headed to Rivington Bar & Grill (less than average food) to meet the Toolroom posse for a B day Dinner, then onto Ministry for an excellent evening!! MTV opened, bad, 90 mins on his own, then MK, also smashed it on his own for 90, then they played together, boy, music got too tough for me, full on techno, had to go into the bar, where Joey Negro, who was struggling, turned it round, and played well, before Jason Herd came on, and rocked it, top northernor as well!! Cracking night & no class a's!!

Sunday, thanked the Dear Lord that i wasn't at Glastonbury!!!
 
Friday - quiet night in

Sat - bit of gym action, bit of holiday shopping, quiet night in

Sun - pi55ed it down all weekend, very miserable, quiet day again

Feeling very refreshed for my break away (9 days to go now!)

Nude was just 'ok'... I'll write in more detail when we get home next week. Sounds like you had a nice relaxing weekend :D
 
Bit late but thought I might as well given I only have internet access for a week before I go incommunicando for another 3 weeks

Fri - Mates bday at a club call Kabaret in Soho. Good night. Everyone was on good form and ended the night dancing with a couple of rather huge trannies (or at least I hope they were trannies! 8O) and then thought we would check out some afterparty at aquarium - got there about 430am and the que was crazy - qued for about 10mins and got bored so gave it a miss.

Sat- Flat mate finally moved in during the week so we did our first Shoreditchy weekend i.e. just went drinking along Kingsland Rd before ending up at Herbal for Nodisko having a little carry on at ours with a few friends with the plan being to head to public life - although me passing out on my sofa put an end to that plan.

Sun - chilled one. Went for a nice brunch at bar music hall and did some work there in the evening listen to some great tech/electro tunes - perfect for a sunday eve!

Have got some exams coming up so next month will be low key for me!

Had a blinder at Ministry! Nothing like a night out to get over the ibiza blues. Mate, who was on between 2 and 4ish in the main room..? It was brilliant, I agree pretty tough but still loved it.. that remix of Big Fun got the place rocking 8)

Left at 5ish as my legs couldnt carry me for much longer, will defo be getting hold of the Tool Room compilation.
