Weekend Rundowns

I've never started this thread before. woop woop :lol:
Ok Fri - Wine and more Sri Lankan food, I swear I'm getting addicted. yummy.
Sat - pottered around in the day, Sat night - headed over to Chelsea for a hen do, ended up very drunk in a bar called Dusk playing tacky hen night games involveing mens pants!
Sun - felt like **** until 12am, went for a walk along Richmond River, Sun eve EPT for friends b'day.
Drank a bit too much wine this weekend. hick

Found out on Friday ill be out of a job as my company is struggling financially and will have to let a few of us go :( need to find more work ASAP, so a bad start to the weekend but still had a good one, had some friends from Stockholm over for the weekend so out on the razz with them all weekend:p
 
fri - out to a new club in Glasgow - Byblos. Quiet start but got a wee bit busier, lovely club. Ricky Cox was good and Jo Mills was excellent

sat - crap football then out to a colleague of Lauras 40th - very civilised with plenty of free champers and wine + lovely food

sun - fuzzy head cured with a nice walk then lunch



next weekend - Paris!!!!
 
Fri - met up with Ferd and his Barry after work for drinks in Ealing and then went out for tapas. They came back to ours after and me and his Barry did fashion shows while Tom and Ferd played on the wii :lol:

Sat - my best friend and her hubby came over at lunchtime (without baby YAY) so went straight to the pub for lunch and then back to ours where lots of minxiness followed with Naomi, Katie and co :lol: Got to bed about 7am Sunday morning, woke up at 10am and felt like I'd been run over, got back on the wine for medicinal purposes and drunk ourselves back to sleep :lol:
 
Fri - had a night in, broke up with the boyfriend :? so a few tears and sitting in with mum

Sat - went to Lakeside, blitzed Primark - I am all Primarked out with some lovely stuff girls :) Went out in evening with one of my guy mates and friends, they really cheered me up and I had a great time. We went to Jumpin Jaks and enjoyed all the cheesey music!

Sun - had a nice dossy day at home with family, enjoyed the sunshine, had a nice curry in the evening
 
Ahh bless you Em - hope your feeling bit better today :cry:

Fri: Round my sisters, cooked dinner chilled in front of American Idol

Sat: Work all day...out to the university at night...first decent night out in an age but boy am I STILL paying for it today!!

Sun: Round to my sisters again followed by reading of sunday tabloid fodder :D

Friday: Off to london after work, had a couple of drinks in soho before heading to trailer trash which then turned into redlight afterhours. Bleugh.

Saturday: Shopping in islington, then tea & cake at yauatcha which was lovely. In the evening went to mulletover's 3rd birthday at an amazing venue in london bridge. Had an OK night but the sound system wasn't brilliant and it was one of those venues where things are all placed so that there were constant streams of moving people through the dance floor :evil: . Also it ended up being quite cold :evil:

Sunday: Slept until 11 and then got out of bed to go to the toilet, which was as excellent as usual. Followed this with t-bar 8O and then finally decided to nap at jamie's before waking up at 5.30 this morning to get the bus back to oxford 8O . Quite tired today....
 
against my much. much better judgement, we went to egg on sunday morning (it was 4am, the end dont open till 5.30, didnt want to hang around)

the party has definately left the building. thick end of 1hour wait outside, terrible queeny picker on the door. really really really mullered crowd of skanks. the loft room is now 'vip' only with on of egg's many hatchet faced lady bouncers on the door. rubbish music too.

Fri - Samuels Chop House, Label and then onto Club V on Deansgate in Manchester for a 4am finish. Music got a bit samey Electro towards the end at the club with too many quick mixes. Back to my mates for a warmed up curry.

Sat - Late start. Tryed my hand at CD mixing at same mates who warms up curry well. I had not done it before even though I have been using vinyl for 10 years, very strange. Back to mine for an early dinner and then Casino Royal on DVD with a bottle of Shiraz

Sun - Flag laying all day then a RBD and Life on Mars (recorded)

does anyone know why jaded left there and went to the end (and what it's like at the end? I'm presuming a similar bunch of people)


Egg has always had a terrible crowd, really really pikey/nasty eurotrash type crowd. Not nice.
 
Nothing much which was nice except the point was to get some proper sleep which still didnt happen...in danger of becoming an insomniac I think.

Watched lots of Lost and Prison Break.

Oh went with my faaarmly to watch a film on sat night called The Namesake. Thought it was excellent. Highly recommended and some of the best acting I have seen. Really warm film and brought a tear to the eye...I admit it...I cried! :cry:

I was working all weekend mate you could off popped in for a warehouse party!
 
very very very wrong

plan: supposed to be going to the end on friday due to three of us having new jobs to start today/tomorrow and saturday clubbing looking like a bad option, nice chill out on saturday and sun

actual: started too early, went to the castlebar in ealing, and decided it was much better idea to have a huge mash up round our house - involving all manner of stupidity, boys fashion show of ibiza outfits, 30 or so assorted randoms, singstar, 8 bottles of vodka and other "items". utter devastation.

Yeah it was my decision, it just bugged me all week last week and I kind of found that I was enjoying just being away from the stress of it all, had a proper matey week last week seeing friends new houses and babys birthday parties :? as you do lol so yeah this weekend felt like a relief.

All the girls are like its so good to have you back!!! :lol:

Trying to change my mind but my mind is already set up I feel.
