Weekend Rundowns

Fri - me and Tom went out after work for a few drinks and a Thai with Rob and Erin - plan was for a few civilised drinks and an early night, somehow ended up horrendously drunk and woke up at 7am on the floor with a dog on my head :? :lol:

Sat - had a hairdressing appointment at 9am so had to look at my haggard hungover face for 3 hours :spank: Then met Nancy and her hubby who'd just arrived from Holland :D Much excitement at seeing her for the first time since September :D and went straight to the pub for lunch and back on the wine :roll: Had a lovely day in the pub and back to ours for pre-Ministry drinks with Big Head and Deeaaave and his bombs :lol: Met up with all the usual suspects in Elephant and Castle and then headed into Ministry at 11.30pm. The music at Ministry was fab, I have now changed my nationality to Swedish :lol: Henrik Larsson :lol: played first, followed by Angello and then Ingrosso :D The night came to an all to abrupt end at 7am :twisted: and after a cloakroom scrum everyone came back ours.

Sunday was spent with our dear friend Katie and getting up to all sorts of wrong-ness :spank: :lol:
 
Fri - nothing as Dom had been up working since 4am.
Sat - Massive walk form Richmond to Kew along the river,
sat night was my bestfriends birthday, met up in Jewell bar, which dispite being bang in pic circus, was un-touisty and really quite nice. Drinks $$$$ though. Anyway after a few apple martini's it was announced it was HIS birthday so we WILL all go to Shadow lounge. :roll: :lol: Last thing I remember is pole dancing on the stage. :lol:
Sun - Lie in, breakfast in bed, papers, T4, walk and sleep. 8)

What is about the pole in Shadow Lounge, I did some pole dancing round it on my last visit there :roll: :oops: :lol:
 
Friday: dinner, drinks and LC at my best friend's with our long lost cousin from Chile who is back to stay for a very long time in BCN :D
Saturday: nothing important
Sunday: met my friend for love therapy, we sat for about 3 hours in a sunny terrace and was really nice. We then headed to Apolo for THE concert. I was in tears most of Marc Almond's performance and we were really impressed with the other artists. After Apolo we went to 52 for post-concert / post-footy drinks :D
 
Fri - a few drinks with some old work mates at the local Wetherspoons, then dinner with my best buddies which was nice, one had to cancel though due to a naughty toddler :spank:

Sat - lunch with another friend for a good old catch up and gossip. Night in chilling with other half who had his 2 naughty nephews staying and generally getting up to mischief 8O

Sun - tea and telly in the morning, nice bit of lunch in afternoon and then back to Essex for the week
 
Fri - Had loads of lovely pressies and cards, then first day at new job which went smoothly. Out for a meal and a few rose's with my friend after work to celebrate the big day!

Sat - Spent the whole morning pampering myself (not keen on the new st Tropez - left me a little patchy!!!) Then work in the afternoon. Bit of shoe shopping then off to my friends to get ready! Night went well with a little help from one of our 'friends' and I met a bloke!!

Sun - More shopping in the morning, papers and tidying up in the afternoon.

I feel like death today! :twisted:
 
Thursday - Attended the grand opening of a beautifully designed new club called Rai (heaven). Lots of beautiful people and such (read: snooty), which is why after a couple hours I moved on to the club 1171 where a friend of mine is the promoter. Then to Mix for after-hours where a very nice architect boy tried for an hour to pick me up (that's my bit of affirmation for the week :lol:)

Friday - Bank holiday. Lazy day at home, then Irina and I attended a reception with French photographers/pop artists Pierre & Gilles. Met the fab couple and saw locally famous artsy people. From there I went to Club B1 to see Ian Brown (of the Stone Roses ;)) in concert. Great show!! :D :D :D From there it was off to Gaudi where my same promoter friend had organized a party with Lisa Loud and Asia Argento DJing.

Saturday - Woke up with my left knee throbbing and immensely swolen. Got a pizza delivered. Spent most of the day in bed.

Sunday - Visited our favorite sports bar to see the Blues win their first piece of silverware for the season, and practice their wrestling moves. :? :lol: Grocery shopping, lazy evening at home.

Is there really a Swedish DJ called Henrik Larsson? 8OWhat style of music does he play, if he's half as good as his namesake the footballing icon he must be out of this world.
 
Friday - Darts at home in games room then visit to the Gym

Saturday - Worked on sorting out my reef aquarium in the day
Evening drove up to London for Pizza like Mamma used to make at my good friend Toni's then onto MOS for Size.
Very nice to see Ferd and Tamsyn (plus IOW friends) plus nice to meet up with Sarah,Tom,Holly G (apologies for my complete lack of conversation once we were in MOS)

I found Size highly enjoyable but found the music quite mixed between brilliant at times to rubbish at times,especially some of the mixing which at times sounded like it was the first time at trying it:?::?::?:

Felt wrecked at the end of the night and then slept for about 7 hours before setting off home for Bristol, somehow I was sat in the driving seat but I'm not convinced it was me driving, I think I must have pressed the auto pilot button:oops:
Finished off Sunday with a very large bottle of Hoegarden whilst watching Top Gear followed by a program on Stealth technology on Discovery wings8O

I thought it sounded like the best music I'd heard in my whole life EVER EVER EVER - altho that might have been down to Katie's influence :spank:
