weekend rundowns

Friday: went for lunch with my sister to a terraza in Palma called Darsena, have tapas and beers and have a very nice time. Went shopping in the afternoon and bougth a very nice sandals, creams, looked for clothes but in a moment of lucidity decided I should check what i have before buying. Went back home very tired, early nigth.
Saturday: Put away all winter clothes and checked all my summer clothes and thougth ( excuse to myself) I must have lost part of it because I though i had more, reality is that i want to buy and buy more summer clothes so any make up excuse is good, because there is such a nice things!!!!! so decided that next week i will buy some more items.
Had one of my special moments: an afternoon tea in bone china cup and reading my book. Then went out to watch the fantastic sunset.
At nigth our brother in law wanted to invites us to dinner, so we went to Manacor, have a lovely dinner in a very good company, very nice restaurant i have never been before . Went to have what it supposed to be a quite drink but met our friends cati and David plus company and stayed with them till pubs were closed, slept in their home.
I intended to have a quite and restfull weekend but ...afterall a very nice weekend.

Fri: Decided to go to Girls on Top @ Snafu. Very very drunk nights that started of really well, but it gets a bit hazy after that. Think the tunes were spot on though, as I can just about remember dancing a fair bit

Sat: At night, headed down to Dundee for my Grandads 80th birthday. Lovely meal, a nice seafood started followed by a fillet steak, followed by profiteroles Consumed vast amounts of Champagne, before heading back up to Aberdeen. Got back about midnight, then headed straight out. Soon was feeling well up for it, and spent the next three hours dancing my ass off Tune of the night....Roger Sanchez 'Lost', gorgeous tune

After the club, back to mine for an after party till about 9 this morning.

Sun: Only woke up a few hours ago, so have decided to do absolutely nothing. Was supposed to stay in this weekend, oops!!!

Went to Torture Garden at SE1...won't elaborate but it's still one the wrongest clubs on the planet - in every sense of the word. REALLY worth checking out. Lots of burlesque performances, suspension installations (complete with meat hooks), dirrrrty electro music, road drill techno and thousands of freaks. You have to love them really.

Carried on at the after party - just got home and now have the fear about going to work.
I can't pull a sickie because I work with a couple of TG regulars and they all know what I was up to.

Very frightened.

Friday - Said goodbye to my old job by downing a few bottles of wine with my colleagues late afternoon. Home for a bit then met a friend at a bar before going to club Gazgolder for some great dirty tech house action until morning.

Saturday - Relaxed day at home. Went to Starlite Diner for dinner and beers, catching a bit of Eurovision while there. Then to Club XIII for DJs Pharoan and Lisa Loud who were both great in different ways. Really fun crowd that night. Went to Mix for a couple hours of afters in the morning.

Sunday - Woke up late afternoon, did a bit of grocery shopping, made a bit pot of plov (mmmm) and watched some Friends DVDs.

Fri - met Jamie for a 'quick' drink after work, before we knew it Katie had popped round to say hi and we were in the middle of a full-blown round the world cruise Thought we'd never find dry land again Eventually docked and headed into Soho to meet some people for drinks. Urgh, remembered why we never go drinking in the West End at a wkend, full of tourists brought Katie out to play again to amuse us

Sat - Tom was at work all day so I lazed around waiting for various men to deliver various bits of furniture, paving for the garden etc. At night me and Tom went out for drinks and to a yummy fish restaurant in Twickenham.

Sun - drove to Kingston to get some last bits for the house and for Ibiza, also managed to get THE Celia Birtwell dress which made my day (been after this dress for a couple of weeks but they only made a few and the waiting list was a joke and I'd given up hope of getting it but then I walk into Top Shop and there's one random one hanging there in a size 8 with my name on it ) Ended the day with a very late Sunday lunch and a few wines.

Friday: cooked dinner for my intelectuals friends and got drunk while talking about the human and the divine since 4am
Saturday: beach for a couple of hours, had a nice lunch by the sea and back home. Spent the rest of the day in the sofa
Sunday: more beach for us and then tapas lunch with my best friend at our fave terrace. Spent most of the day on the sun and burnt my shoulder

Friday: Few drinks after work which turned into a lot of drinks (I LOVE this pub we've found where bottles of decent wine are £6.50 ) which then turned into naughtiness which then turned into godawful gay club where I met a 40 year old bloke 'about to launch his pop career in a couple of months' which made my day . Stayed up at mine until god knows what time.

Saturday: Incredibly hungover all day, slept on the sofa all afternoon, woke up in time for eurovision which was as fantastic as usual, very pleased Lordi won - should have put some money on them really. I love the way all the newspapers say things like 'it really shows that there are fans of rock music who watch eurovision' when clearly it's just because they were the most memorable and hilarious act that year.

Sunday: Nothing at all, sleeping

Fri: became a domesticated goddess after returning from work, went straight out to Sainsbury's and bought all the ingredients to make a Tandoori Chicken, Onion Bhaji's and sauces from scratch. Spent all night preparing and listening to Pete Tong whilst Phil went out for a pint or 2. Finally finished and left the chicken marinading for 24hrs. How red were my fingers!!!!

Phil came back and brought a very good friend back 8) 8) - ended up staying up till 5am.....

Sat: spent the day buying all the bits and pieces and I had forgotten the night before - bought some nice wine and dessert and then chilled had a lovely relaxing bath and then cooked dinner, absolutely lovely - a new recipe to add to my ever extending list of things I can cook - !! Finished the rest of the naughties afterwards and watched some films.

Sun: Dragged Phil out of bed to help in the garden - 4hours later, grass cut, trees cut back, weeding done, lawn fed and it looks fab - rain started... so it will look fantastic in a few days time.....(I love my garden.. )

Today I feel like I have been kicked by a horse - aching in places I forgot I had ..... gardening hurts its official!!!

A nice wholesome weekend for me

Friday - Jon cooked us a curry, had a couple of glasses of wine and watched BB. Early night 8)

Saturday - Spring cleaned Jon's room - god how much dust collects in hard to reach places Picked Jon up from football then drove down to Canterbury for his Dad's birthday. Another curry followed by crisps and dips and a DVD.

Sunday - up bright and early, full English followed by a two hour walk with Charlie the dog, during which the heavens opened and I got truly soaked through Not that the dog minded though he seemed to love rolling about in puddles then shaking himself dry over my clean clothes :x
Roast Pork and yorkshire pudding for tea, followed by some birthday cake then drove back to London just in time for Big Brother

Feel nice and refreshed now

Fri - Sadly was at my friend's mother's funeral, spent last Xmas afternoon drinking wine and chatting with her. Afterwards drinking at the wake then my pal invited me and a few friends back for more drinks. Went home and rustled up something to eat then caught a bus to go to my gig (DJ god eh! ). Quietish night, but, carried on drinking (1st time DJing & drinking since 80's). Taxi turned up with a friend driving. 8)

Sat - Spent the day messing with music on my laptop. Had some food then caught the bus again to my gig. Good busy night, drank steadily, was surrounded most of the night by about 20 young girls (wonder if it was my aftershave? probably didn't even know I was there ). Taxi turned up with another old pal driving. 8)

Sun - Went for a run with one of my running partners. Meant to be out for an hour but took 1 1/2 hours, my friend had chicken in the oven, oh dear! Well, roasted chicken anyone! Mucking about with music again. Downed some food then caught bus to my other gig. Must of been on a drinking mission, 5 pints in 2 1/2 hours! Played some cracking dirrty electro-house as well as the usual commercial fodder. Had yet another friend taxi me back home. 8)

Hopefully will have the car back for next weekend.

Saw the Barca v Arsenal game about 6 times. Still not tired of seeing it 8)
