Have i missed the weekend thread??
How was it for you??

Im only starting it because Type was so damn good yet again!!! Dancing in the terrace at The Cross is fantastic once its warm enough. For once it wasnt rammed either.

Formulate was not so good after in my opinion. Although seeing Anthony from Big Brother dancing to electro house was amusing.

I dont usually post on this thread as my weekends are as boring and dull as its better not to report them!

HOWEVER, I was wondering where everyone was (I do like to read a good "Weekend Rundown" from you guys!).....bloomin Easter holidays innit?! Absolutely heaving here in Marbella! The usual 5 minute drive from my house to my office took me 20 minutes this lunch....nightmare!

Bloody guiris everywhere!

Saturday went out with a couple of friends on motorbikes, did about 350 km most of them in secondary curvy roads and when I got home I couldn't move cos all my body was hurting

Sunday I spent the day with two friends drinking and eating tapas on a sunny terrace, by 6 we were quite drunk but we managed to get on time to see Barça loosing against Madrid on basketball :?

I started today my easter holidays, off till next tuesday 8)

I love working on holidays cos my usually 35 minutes drive takes me 20

Fri - work had some leaving drinks for me in the Big Chill and T Bar, altho somehow they managed to bribe me into coming in for one last day on Monday   so I can save the emotional farewells til Monday  Went home early cos my mum, dad, gran and grandad were down so wine and food with them.

Sat - went shopping for new house stuff with my family and then out for fish, chips and mushies peas lunch (you can take the northerners out the north but you can't take the northernness out the northerners  ) Saturday night me and Tom went to Coronet to see Louie Vega and his Elements of Life. Never been to Coronet before, great venue and a really fun night - lots of Latino and Spanish inspired stuff from the Little Hatted One :D

Sun - got up to watch the Chelsea game on the sofa under the duvet (bliss), had a little sleep when the Liverpool game was on and then back on the sofa for the Man U V Arsenal game. Lovely day doing nothing much at all :D

I'd been procrastinating... thought about starting the thread last night then didn't bother

Friday - Drinks with friends at an authentic American-style dive bar called Bourbon Street complete with blues band in a place about the size of my kitchen. Then over to club Renaissance for, coincidentally, Renaissance night with Satoshi Tomie. 8) I'm sure he was really good but at some point, some random people handed me a bottle of champagne and things get a bit fuzzy after that. Ended up at afterhours club Mix for a good additional session.

Saturday - woke up around 5pm. The missus and I met up with some friends at a bar/club called Look In then over to Fabrique for yet another Houseworks party, this time with Ian Carey (he was wearing a Defected t-shirt, which about explains his music policy). Then to new "it" club Dyagilev Project which we basically closed out.

Sunday - up at 3pm to the delightful news that the Chelsea game was on local TV and I didn't have to drag myself to the sports bar (great game! :D sorry Lynch!). We ordered a pizza and I finished my week-long project to finally edit my film from New Year's in Amsterdam

Well Silv, I won´t blame your lovely people from Barcelona....everyone that is jammin up the roads seems to be from Madrid!

Hen night on Friday which wasn't too bad – We ended up in a hotel with a "party night" which what a 2 course meal and a disco afterwards….. was ok really, got hammered on gin and got a lift home and in bed drunk by 1.30am. Was very good during the evening tho - bumped into a friend from way way back in the day who kept dragging me to the toilets as she had supplies shoved down her bra - cue lots of confused middle aged women reapplying their makeup whilst watching her getting her baps out trying to find her stuff - and me mentioning things like "oh those chicken fillets are a bugger arent they - with her replying "eh? its not chicken fillets man - its my cocaine!!" 8O
I refused each time...

Sat consisted of me getting up around lunchtime, pottering around while phil tinkered with his PC then I went to the library (Hard Core or what!!!! J ) Watched a mental blizzard for about 30 mins then we decided to stay in and watch a DVD and ordered an Indian takeaway – bottle of wine and a moderately early night…

Yesterday consisted of dog walking, dog bathing and basically laughing at the dog who was 3 x the size due to his fluffy coat, you probably had to be there but it was comical……

….. all in all a sensible weekend – not so for this weekend – self imposed sensibility is going out of the window because I have 5 DAYS off work – oh yeah!!!!

Friday: Popped over to Boots to replace the items that was stolen from my going out bag, my lip plump which i absolutley had to have again and then done our weekly shop and went to see my mom. Came home and tidied the place up so we wouldnt have to do it Sunday.

Saturday: Eary start, on the road for 11.30am down to Brighton. Checked into the hotel and went straight back out again. It was very windy but sunny. Al Forno & Piccalo's was packed so we just went to Ask which was very nice. I had spagetti bolognase which surprised me by being quite tasty (for a chain restaurant). Walked back and had a little nap before heading back out again. Met up with the Born to Dance owners in Greens for a couple of bottles of wine. Didnt feel too bad at this stage, just a little drained. Headed onto Zap club with the other promoters at 11pm and was chuffed to see a que already. Didnt really start to get into it until Micheal Gray came on, still wasnt really overly impressed. Seems everyone's jumping on the funky electro thing at the moment and he played all the stuff thats out there at the moment. There wasnt anything new added which i hadnt already heard before but then i guess he's playing to the Brighton crowd so thats all that matters. We left at 4.30am because my cold had really started to come out and i felt awful :?. Managed to get a couple of hours sleep here and there and woke up still feeling wrong.

Sunday: Wandered around the Lanes, looking @ the gorgeous bags in Ollie & Nik, Joey wanted to buy me one but i wouldnt let him :spank: :D. Had chips on the pier and then stabbed myself in the lip with an ice-cream cone because i wasnt looking when crossing the road and i was about to get run over by a bike

Drove back to B'ham and was greeted by hail and rain and 0.5 tempretures. Brighton had been 11.0+ all weekend so it was freezing in comparison

Friday - started badly as both Cheshire Catz turned up on my doorstep bearing wine. Ended up at trailer trash with mike monday which was wicked (though I was rather drunk by then)

Sat - studio with my friend Dale and then home for a gorgeous roast dinner and a DVD with the missus

Sun - Absolutely nothing!

Spent obscene amounts of money on Bunker accessories and hermited myself on the balcony drinking coffee (from new cow print cappucino maker) gawping at the gerkin and worrying about terrorist flight paths hitting my beautiful new pad. 8O

Friday: Moved clothes, breakables and did some final packing.

Saturday: Moved heavy equipment and did some unpacking.

Sunday: Assembled furniture and did laundry.

As y'all can tell, I had a pretty fun-filled weekend.

I'm jealous too! I think Robder's going to have to do a "look at my newly decked-out bunker" thread with photos galore.

Friday - went to friends house, drank lots of wine & was generally silly.

Saturday - helped friend move stuff into her new flat.

Saturday night - went to Soul City @ Boulevard in Covent Garden, was very good, had lots of fun & got very battered!

Sunday - Slept, ate, watched crap on telly.
