Another weekend gone, another work week begins :?

Looking back:

Friday - Attended a friend's birthday party in a very smoky underground bar. Many many drinks later, went to club Gaudi for Timo Maas. His set was very disappointing. So much so that I left around 4 or 5 and went home.

Saturday - Lied in all day. Managed to reconfigure my wi-fi router in an attempt to get it to stop sucking. In the evening, met some friends at Vodka Bar for the beginning of a very wet night which moved on to Club XIII and then Sport Land the following morning.

Sunday - Felt very wrong :? Quickly perked up after making some spicy Lagman mid-afternoon. Realized that my wi-fi router still sucks and went to buy a new one and a sound card for my desktop comp. Attended another friend's birthday party at a bowling alley. My arm is still sore. Managed to find a TV to watch football while there. Grocery shopping, then installing the new gadgets.
 
Weekend ruined by being OTT on Friday night, was supposed to just have couple of drinks to discuss friends birthday in a couple of weeks, fast forward to next morning and I'm sitting at work having lost my jacket and mobile in the local cheesyhellhole, running to the toilet to be sick, going home early and then being under the weather for the rest of the weekend! :roll:

Friday - Meant to go to the George & Dragon for a quiet Guinness but ended up at Trailer Trash at On the Rocks by accident. :oops: :lol: Had a great time!

Saturday - Went clothes shopping and sourced a tattoo parlour because I need more ink in my life.
Then on to Miss Kittin @ Bugged Out...
It really was the night to end all nights (again).
I've never seen the End go off quite like that before. The woman is amazing...she kept us so busy that we had to put all our phones on divert, put our out of office response on - and even get a temp in to help with demand (don't ask :lol:).
The set of the year by a mile - even better than Chicken Lips if that were possible. 8O 8O 8O
I want to have her babies and am now thinking I'm making a terrible mistake choosing the WLS opening over Miss Kittin's Sunday Sonar set. :? :? :? (Oh dear - dilemma)
I'm never missing her again - ever. She did her stint on the mic too - such a sexy little voice...and completely random! Where does she spout all that stuff from?
(I even sent an email to most of my friends saying that unless they'd seen Miss Kitten play at some point then I'd have no further need for their services. :lol: :oops:)

Sunday - Didn't even know it was a nice day...carried on with Uncle Kenneth and Auntie Soave! :lol:

Fantastic weekend - 8O Haven't enjoyed myself that much in ages.

Fri - drunken cheesy dancing at the walkabout, had to be done!

Sat - my gf's Dad came to our flat for dinner, then we (not including her dad!) went to the cheshire street sessions at Rhythm Factory. One of the best nights out I've had in AGES. Wicked tunes, seeing loads of my buddies together in one place, and doing NO2 bulbs out of baloons was also pretty damn funny.

Sun - went to see my mate's brother's band at camden underworld but actually missed him and stayed for 'useless ID' - great fun to be in a seedy rock den, reminded me of my youth :) Had a lovely thai meal then home to bed.

Great weekend :D :D
 
Friday: Joey met me after work as he'd been for a drink with Jebas (my brother) and we walked home and then went and done our food shop. Got fish and chips on the way home which we both failed to eat :spank:. Went to bed pretty early as we were both pretty whacked.

Saturday: Got up around 10am and cleaned the apartment and picked up stoney from Airport. Joey went for a coffee and i stayed in at home and got started on the Kath & Kim dvd's he'd bought over with him 8)

Went for dinner @ Malmaison, gorgeous lamb shank with parsley mash and garlic jus followed by creme brulee. All went back to ours for a drink and Joey got a Logic lesson and i got to squeeze in another Kath & Kim episode.

Headed onto Leicester for Po Na Na, to say they like their commercial stuff is an understatement :roll: . What started as a potentially good night turned down hill very fast. I think i had my drink spiked too :roll:. I felt very sick and had to sit down and then spent the next 5 minutes trying to regain my composure by not passing out :?, went all sweaty and clammy and then as quick as it came it went :?. If i was drunk i could of understood it but i wasnt :spank:. I've come to the conclusion that Leicester is a bad place and im never going back there again.

Left at 3.30am and went back home to bed. Didnt really sleep all too well :? and got up at 10.30am to meet Stoney for some lunch. Decided to let Joey carry on without me and i got back into bed and ate some rock that Joey bought back from Blackpool a few weeks back :lol:

Joey came back after dropping our swede at the airport and got into bed with me for an afternoon nap - i love sunday napping :D

Got up around 6pm and had some dinner and done our ironing for the week :)

I slept straight through last night which is surprise for me. 6.5 hours :)
 
Thinking about it more now, i couldnt of had my drink spiked because surely it wouldnt have gone so quickly. Maybe it was a ghost trying to connect with me spiritually :? :lol:
 
Friday: went out for some sushi and drinks with two friends and the swedish GF of one of them. When we left the 2.13 bar we realised whe were in the middle of the botellón riots 8O with containers burning, the police shotting balls at Rambla del Raval and lots of confusion around and the swedish Girlfriend shouting "this is f**ing france" 8O :lol: :lol: At the end it all went a bit wrong, the police balls arrived where we were and me and my friend needed 40 minutes to get my motorbike (oportunetly parked in the middle of the furor) and reach a safe place :?

Saturday: some shopping with my friend and a nice dinner at hers with a couple of bottles of wine

Sunday: BBQ, lots of drinks, smokes and laughs. Great day
 
Another sensible weekend in the puppy kennel.

Fri: Stayed in with Wine and DVD's - early night.

Sat: Up early to do baby stuff shopping, went on a 3 mile walk with the pooch, came home, finally got in the garden to cut back the jungle which was rapidly encroaching on the house and scratched myself to buggery, and skinner my knuckles climbing trees :twisted: :twisted: :twisted: Hot bath then listened to music and chilled with my book - Phil at the match - they won so I got a very happy puppy arriving home at a sensible time - which is always good cos I get to spend more time with him.:lol: - On a bad note - he got pulled by the police for speeding so £60 fine and 3 points :spank:

Sun: Thank god we had a sensible night - 3 lots of people descended on us at various points of the day (some with kids, some without) Finally got to sit down with the papers about 4.30pm :roll: :roll: Went to the airport to pick my sis up from her weekend of debauchery in Berlin, plane due to land at 10.30pm, delayed until 11.30pm - by the time I took her home and got back myself it was 12.50am - knackered today :D :D :D
 
Fri - quick drink with Jon and Becki after work turned into lots of drinks, then Ferd turned up and all of a sudden going to see Fergie ( :? ) @ Turnmills seemed like the BEST idea in the world :lol: Fortunately I managed to resist the temptation (which was hard cos we were 2 mins from Turnmills) so went home and ate chips and mushy peas in bed instead cos I'm classy like that :lol:

Sat - shopping and then got the train to sunny Essex to be Godmother Babs and get on the wine early with my bezzie mate. Tom drove over after work and we celerated our friends return to the 'dark side' in true style-eeee :twisted: :lol: Got to bed at 9am, up at 1 and watched the football marathon and got on the Bloody Marys for medicinal purposes, got home late last night.

Cant believe you were so close to seeing Fergie with me!! :lol:

I know you probably wont believe me but he was OUTSTANDING. Id say the best night of the year till now. T2 was playing quality progressive house all night and Fergie in the main room played a blinding set 8) . A mixture of techno, electro and wicked party tunes. I really want to urge people to ignore his hard house days. He's far better than that now.

Left at 7.30 and didnt do anything else all weekend!
