My turn to get the ball rolling ........

Fri: Few drinks at home

Sat: Work, sleep 8O then more drinks at home, some nice music on and fun with g/f.

Sun: Got up early and took the LONG drive up to lake Windermere. Absolutely glorious!! Took a boat trip up and down the lake with some breaks drinking wine in some wonderful beer gardens. Anyone who hasn't been MUST go. We kept saying how we could have easily been somewhere in the med and it was swealtering HOT. Breathtaking!

:D

Your Sunday sounds absolutely wonderful 8)

My weekend was a bit poo, seem to be having a run of bad luck :( I wont bore you with the details

Brilliant weekend in wales meeting rachel's family.

Same again next weekend, whilst preping for ibiza... :D

Friday: dinner and drinks with Pep
Saturday: spent the day with Pep's family then back home. We were meant to stay in but I finally went out with my friends (Pep has lots of work at the moment and stayed at home). Drinks at my friend's and then went to Alfa for a bit of electropop and then back to my friend's
Sunday: got back home around 9,30 with croasants and the newspaper for Pep. Slept for a while and felt drunk till 3pm. Spent the day in the sofa doing nothing

weekend hightlights.

sat, after the football (grim showing by the boys in white)

went to a pub by the canal in willesden. bbq and djs outside in the garden. very nice till about 8.30 when the funky squelchy house soundz were replaced by a dj who played a full on trance set that wouldnt be out of place at Cream at about 3am. the place was just about to get lively when everybody sat down again. so we all went back to our local instead

btw, i bumped into paul(stix) from turnmills on sunday who informed me that DJ Anil Chawla played an absoulte blinder at dusted at the egg the night before
;)

Wasn't it!!

I had trouble sleeping too, but that's usual for Sunday nights for me

Still made gym this morning though - it nearly killed me, i thought i was going to throw up

Friday, I intended to go to the beach but stayed in all day doing nothing but watching tv, internet, etc. At afternoon headed to Palma to buy my friend David present for his birthday. At nigth had dinner in Gelis home and then went to David Party wich was in a beach, not much drink for me, didn'n fancy. Went to bed at 5 in the morning.
Saturday went to the beach all day, Es Trenc, beautiful beach and the watter was so clean!!!!, nigth in with family, hamburguers, beers and tv.

:D

Friday = George and Dragon ( :D ) followed by Trailor Trash at On the Rocks. Brilliant night! :D 8) Can't wait to go back.

Saturday = Brighton - saw loads of old friends and got wasted on the beach...wound up at a house party.

Sunday = Planned on a sensible day in the sunshine at Kew Gardens but ended up getting on the vodka and winding up at SecretSundaze.
I've fallen madly in love with 93 fleet east as a venue - it's great!
Felt quite sad at the end cos it was the last official SS and thats been my fave hangout of this year.

Today = Another 'urgh' day. ;)

Oh dear... you all had such relaxed weekends in comparison to mine :? Near total self destruction  Here goes:

Thursday - with the missus out of town, it was a bit too quiet at home so I went to Propaganda for their legendary Thursday nights with Sanchez, a top local DJ. :D Ran into a bunch of people I know so danced, drank, went home sometime after 3 before...

Friday - suffering through work all day :? Note to self: No more Thursday nights out. Got home after work and alternated dozing off on the sofa with watching CNN coverage of Hurricane Katrina  Eventually dragged myself off to club Fabrique for the usual drinking and dancing marathon, once again running into a bunch of the usual suspects. At some point, already pretty sloshed, I went over to a bar closer to home to see if a couple of friends of mine were there (no idea why!?) and after half hour decided I really needed to drag my butt home!

Saturday - The day started out quiet enough. Straightened up around the house, went to the department store to by some things for the home, made myself a nice pair of burritos with chicken, Mexican rice and feta cheese. mmm :D Then I ended up going to meet some friends for drinks at a new bar called Coconuts. Once I hit the 2.5 liter beer mark we walked a block to club XIII for dancing. A UK DJ named Terry Farley was playing - decent tune selection, poor mixing. From there to the bar across the street for one beer then off to after-hours club Mix for a couple hours. Went outside to meet a city already bustling with activity as I grabbed a MacMuffin and hashbrowns and went home.

Sunday - slept until early afternoon then took a nap into early evening. Made some shimp etoufee (Cajun dish... New Orleans on my mind, I guess). Cleaned around the house a litte more and then camped out on my sofa where I surfed the net and watched some of the US Open. Passed out there at some point.

Monday - decided that 3 nights of partying per week when you have to work on a Monday is definitely not a good idea

What a nice but tiring weekend you had, just like me a week or two a go, I intended partying a litle bit in Davids party but just couldn't, I defintly cannot do it more, I need resting because I am completly exhausted after this summer, need settle down. Just need routine and growning up stuff.

Friday evening got home from work at 8 ish and bbq'd a couple of steaks in the garden.
saturday morning spent sitting on a step in the village with marli watching the world go by. lunch in the pasteleria with jaki followed by a siesta. we spent saturday evening at cala martina with some friends and all our dogs who had a great time in and out of the sea while we sat at the bar on the beach from 6 till 11. lovely simple food there (it's the bar of the campsite) and inexpensive too - we only spent 90 euros for all 5 of us.
san rafael was packed as we drove home and we arrived at es puet beach just in time for the appearance of 'the truth' our junior spotlight rockers who were performing after the cartahaginian invasion of roman territory.
sunday morning spent writing followed by a drive out in the country. quiet night in on sunday with a saffron stew of hake, clams and potatoes.

Grown up stuff? What's that? The fact that I have a routine is bad enough... Mon-Fri get up, go to work (always 30 mins late), come home, make dinner, surf Internet, sleep. I think of Friday and Saturday nights as beer-music-dancing therapy for the weekday boredom
