How was it folks?

Mine:

Friday - 'Lockout' at the cinema. It's really bad, don't bother

Sat - bizzarely, having turned down tickets to Arsenal, my footy match was called off due to a water-logged pitch. Drought anyone? Watched the snoozefest that was that game and went to the gym.

Sat night - www.greennote.co.uk in Camden to see theswingninjas.co.uk. The missus may sign them up for her agency

Sunday - Ikea and John Lewis furniture shopping expedition followed by a nice roast at a decent gastrobub near us and watching footy.

Sunday - watched Inception and half of Shutter Island

Friday - Seth Troxler @ Sub Club glasgow...immense, great music, great night

Sat & Sun - not much apart from family lunch and golf

Amazing weekend.

Friday - Watched Chelsea's youngsters trounce Blackburn in the first leg of the FA Youth Cup final. Post-match drinks at the Butcher's Hook in Fulham, then met up with Ferd & co. at Ministry of Sound for Gallery with Hernan Cattaneo b2b with Nick Warren. Ace music, serious shape-throwing, and a surprise appearance by Kimajy (great to meet you sir!). Great night 8)

Saturday - Dragged myself out of bed after less than 4 hrs sleep and raced to the Emirates for Chelsea v Arsenal. Not much of a spectacle... could have slept in! Chinese lunch in Islington and then back to my hotel for a little nap. Got up and headed to a pub in Brixton for a couple of beers and then to the Brixton Academy. James Zabiela was having his usual (and increasingly annoying) fun with his iPad controller  Leftfield were great live. MANDY closed the evening with a top notch set. But Booka Shade live was the highlight for me 8) (Big thanks to Ferd's missus for sorting us out with entry to the main dancefloor... I had no idea that "Circle" tickets meant the lame 2nd floor balcony )

Sunday - Dragged myself up again after 4 hours of sleep and went to the airport for my flight back to Moskva. Unpacked, made beef stroganoff, watched TV, passed out on sofa.

Still recovering mental faculties and a bit tired but good times :D

Sounds decent, except the Arsenal/Chelsea snoozefest. We only popped into Camden for an hour so on the Saturday so didn't think trying to drag you down. Next time

No biggee, mate. We'll have another chance to catch up again soon.

Spent all day Friday sleeping trying to recover from my all nighter Thursday....Spent half of Saturday sleeping trying to get better to work up to go out on Saturday night. Saturday night wasd forced to watch the Human Centipede by my friends and smoked too much weed...Sunday sat in bed and caught up with House and drank lots of tea.

Very boring weekend for me. Only 3 more UK weekends to go so hopefully they should be more spectacular!

Friday night was my friends 40th party in a studio in Brixton. Some amazing fancy dress outfits , great crowd , great soundsystem too am amazed it didn't get shut down. dj'd 4 - 7am and party was still going when we left after that.

Saturday went for pub lunch to cheer up my mate lost/had her phone stolen the night before and basically stayed out all day. Morbyd I forgot to put your numbers in my phone doh!

Sunday had to go round to the house im moving into in 2 weeks and sign a load of stuff with the landlord etc. I was hanging by a thread and it went on for nearly 2 hours. very painfull!

F. Hilarious drunken eve in the bunker.

S. Impromptu date.

S. Lazy day moaning under a blanket about impending cold in Camberwell.

Friday

Couple of porkies and made it down to MOS. Quite a turn-out all in all - some friends DJing in the Baby Box (and another I didn't even know was there had his remix played by Hernan Cattaneo 8)).

Great to meet Ferd (Tamsyn and Toni too), and Morbyd (along with your colleague who very gracefully handled the "Fosters and straw" experience ;)) ..

Was a really fun night - Hernan b2b Nick Warren was tougher than last time I saw Hernan play on his own in there and worked really well - didn't leave drenched but was enough to inspire on the dancefloor. Not overly busy either, so had a chance to chat, which was nice.

Saturday - Managed a couple of hours sleep after getting back before most of the rest of the day packing up and suffering a very long drive back (aargh !) ...

Sunday - Dancing in and out of rain attempting to get some jobs done outside ... not a great success but was a start anyway :)

Jesus! Good job you only watched half of Shutter Island. I think both of those films in one night would be one serious head f*ck!

Very boring weekend, for me. Saving my pennies after the heavy weekends in London I've had. Or at least trying to.

good weekend....

Friday - nowt

Saturday - impromptu night out to see Bombay Bicycle Club, really good gig. i wasnt a massive fan ( i knew some of their stuff but not a greatdeal), but after that the albums will be being bought. few beers in liverpool afterwards

Sunday - went to a christening and caught most of the match, mad mad game and a good performance from everton (despite getting no credit from whiskey nose afterwards), after that laughed at the liverpool game and then got annoyed again about last saturday!

I've seen them both before, so less trippy for me. The missus hadn't seen Shutter Island though and her head was back-to-front by the time we turned in. Finishing it tonight....

Jason was very impressed with himself for downing both cans of Fosters on the way home

I think he was a very good sport riding home through London astride 6 bags of straw and a box of plants.. brings a whole new meaning to 'a roll in the hay'

Great to finally meet Kimajy after a couple failed attempts and to see Morbyd again.

Had a great night, thought Hernan and Nick Warren were fantastic. I was not jealous in the slightest when Tamsyn went out again on saturday, a quiet night in was needed.

The fact Barca los the clasico didnt help my mood either

Troxler at subclub was a fantastic night. Got home 1pm on the Saturday :)lol.

Ended up in subclub on the Saturday night as well.

Great weekend :)
