Weekend Reports

I had a civilised meal with my mum and husband on friday then it all went wrong

saturday went to my friend's house party at about 4pm, had a ball catching up with everyone, then sneaked off to DDD at 2am. Thank the lord the 'secret location' wasn't some dingy car park / dripping railway arch, but a proper venue (if a bit hot) Great tunes, great time, then on to Kubicle at 6am, taking random strangers of all nationalities (swiss, german, israeli and spanish) with me. Partied on down until i caould barely stand, then back to the house party to chill out for a bit before I finally staggered home.

My first year back to Global after a 2 year absence, and it was brilliant!

Thought the mud bath added to the night, so many comedy laugh out moments that i think it should be obligatory for it to rain at Global every year!

Best sets for me SOS, Eddie Haliwell, Armin and Eric Prydz. Decent sets from Jules, Trophy Twins, Fanciulli and Zabiela. Poor sets from Digweed and in particular Steve Lawler. How can someone who was so good only 2 years ago be so consistenly average now??

Definitely going again next year.

Saw Bookashade Live who were just brilliant, then Sasha who played one of the best sets I've ever heard him play in 15+ years :D Oakie followed Sasha and the Monkey Man was on truly top form bringing out classics like Southern Sun, Not Over Yet and Diamondback - definitely the Oakie of old :D

you are kidding me Sar!! one of my favourite records ever! have not heard that played out in TIME!!!

glad you and the crew had a good one!!!
