Weekend Plans

Just back from London and already thinking ahead to the coming weekend in chilly Moscow  But there's hope for some good tunes on hand to warm things up 8)

Friday - Probably going to see Francois K and local hero Sanches play at 10 Dyumov (a go-carting center turned rave party venue :? ). Alternative plan is Alex Neri (Planet Funk) at club Fabrique.

Saturday - Need to drop my computer off for repairs. Will probably go to the sports bar for Chelsea v. Middlesbrough. Not sure what the evening holds as it's mostly local residents in the clubs so it'll probably depend on mood. (edit: Tim Deluxe might be in town, so may check that out)

Sunday - Recovery, if necessary. Grocery shopping. Maybe straighten up the house a bit.

Next week is the maddest week of the year, tuesday and thursday are bank holiday (only in Spain!)
I booked monday off so I have a 4 days weekend, then working on wednesday, off on thursday and then working half day on friday and weekend again.

Don't you just love Spain?

We are going to my family country house with some friends and the cat, main activities will be sleeping, eating and drinking :D

It's a Catholic festivity

como se llama?

Purísima COncepción o la Inmaculada COncepción :D

My Spanish is a little weak, but does that involve sacrificing Virgins?

Are gays invited (with it being Catholic)?

Does it invlove running Bulls through the Town Centre, just for jokes, like?

What crazy antics do you Spaniards participate in for this one?

Not sacrificing virgins, I think it's the day that Christ was conceived, a month and a half before he supposedly was born 8O

I'm not sure about the gays, the few catholic gay associations are now into a big big crisis after the church was passionatly against gay marriage 8O

Bulls only run in Pamplona in July

Non traditional antics for this one, next time there's an official antics day i let you know ;)

Fri - Work till late then sleep.

Sat - Round my mates salon for a haircut and kicking off the weekend session....then we're all off to Fancy London Town. Check into swish hotel and then out for dinner at Volt (anyone ever been, any good?) then onto The End for Laurent Garnier, Layo and Bushwacka, Tania Volcano, and Erol Alkan 8) Anyone else going?

Sun - ..... Hopefully leave The End about 7am and then onto Turnmills for Danny Rampling and to say hello to some fellow Spotlight Reprobates ;) Probably stay up all day, then maybe some DTPM Fabric action at night.

Anyone know anything that's on Sun afternoon?

Mon - Lie in then off to dump bags at my club before some lunch at The Ivy and some shopping/maybe a museum/gallery visit in the afternoon. Then back to my club to pick up a swish Ferrari and head home, stopping in Uxbridge to see an old mate.

ROCK ON :D :D :D

We went to se the Knicks vs Spurs game and it was fantastic to see the Madison in full glory, but I wasn't that impress on the american basketball, to be honest.

I do recomend Michael Jordan' steack house @ Grand Central, the place is stunning, the food great and the relation price-quality excelent ;)
