Was gonna be staying in again this weekend but bumped into a mate yesterday who told me he's got playing at his club this weekend...

Fri -Annie Mac and DJ Switch 8) So shall be checking that out. Annie Mac's radio show is uber excellent and she's had loads of good reviews for her DJing at clubs lately.

Sat - Huey from Fun Lovin Criminals :D Haven't a clue what he plays but he's doing a live vocal set too so it's Scooby Snacks all round ;) :D

Sun - Wash car, sunday lunch with mates, pop into the parents, cinema in the evening.

:D

friday: don't know, probably few drinks with the girlies

saturday: taking my niece off for lunch, then on the evening my friend's birthday do, not sure what's going to be cos I just got the email about "what are we going to do for Monica's birthday"

Sunday: Barça basketball match on the morning, then family lunch

Friday: Might head to london for a friends party somewhere in east london. Otherwise (and probably the better idea) I'll sit at home and pack for my trip to egypt

Saturday: early coach to gatwick , fly to egypt (sharm el sheikh), bask in 28degrees of pure sun, avoid the bombs, book scuba diving and other activities, head out to pacha etc etc holiday stuff....

Sunday: more holidaying

mon: more holidaying

tues
weds
thurs

you get the idea ;)

Thurs - the company I've just started freelancing for are having a big fancy party for employees, past and present clients (and hangers on like me  ) to celebrate being 30

Fri - recovering from said 30th birthday shenanigans so a few sherrys and fish, chips and mushies for medicinal purposes

Sat - in a bid to keep away from clubs/going on cruises  this wkend me and Tom have arranged a 'tourist' wkend so Saturday night we are going ice-skating @ Kew Gardens and then out for dinner in Richmond - with my track record for accidents don't know how sensible an idea this is 8O :?

Sun - going to London Zoo (to try and release all the animals  ) and then out to eat @ the Engineer

Obviously Saturday/Sunday is dependent on weather and if the weather gets worse (as has been forecast) then I can't be held responsible for situations beyond my control if I end up in a club

Very civilised Babs... Mine is too...

Thurs - visiting my mum and dad for some home cooked food
Friday - my flatmate's cooking Thanksgiving dinner for our American friend
Saturday - drinks in Notting Hill and dinner at the Tiroler Hut for a friend's bday (Schweinsbraten mit Semmelknödel und Sauerkraut anyone??)
Sunday - Ian Brown at Brixton Academy

Hopefully repainting the hall and stairs walls ready for christmas.

Other than that more xmas shopping etc.

Thurs: Going to see Leeroy Thornhill in B'ham, Joeys doing a warm up for him so in for free and free drinkies.

Fri: Catching train up to Machester after work, checking into Rosetti in centre. Dinner at the hotel and then road trip up to Kiss Da Funk in Leeds with Stoney to watch him play.

Sat: Nice day of pampering in the hotel on my own while the others go shopping and eat dim sum :? , watch some dvd's in robe, face pack, bubble bath, room service etc etc. Dinner somewhere, not sure yet and then onto Twisted Elegance in Manchester with Stoney to see him play again.

Sun: Check out late and either a spot of brunch or drive straight back home.

Sensible stuff - once the weather gets like this its self-imposed hibernation for me ....

Off work on Friday to go shopping and do "lunch" with my sister, so no doubt have to ring Mr PL to come and collect me - probably too drunk to manage public transport by myself.

Rest of the weekend - Sensible stuff - once the weather gets like this its self-imposed hibernation for me .... Although, might do some "special brownie baking" on Saturday for the weekend......

That reminds me, I must get myself a lifejacket in case we have to abandon ship again... 8O

Well we've got the binoculars so hopefully we'll be better prepared for a pirate attack this time 8O

Friday - FLT beers with the current and her new workmates

Sat - Surprise visit to catch the troops with their feet up, threaten sackings and then hit the motorway for a visit to friends in Manchester. (JJinit - yes, the Mick Rumba radar will be on)

Sun - Head home and possibly Ian Brown at Brixton. (Have only been availed of this gig by Miss G's post above but may see if I can get a ticket to see King Monkey)

Is Kiss da Funk at Mission in Leeds? If so, unlucky! Worst club ever.

Do you know anything about a big warehouse party in Brum city centre this Sat mate?

Yes it is hun, theres a load of us going. Worst club , why?? cant really expect much else from a scuzzy place like Leeds

I know not of any warehouse party in B'ham :?, is it another illegal one?

Don't know anything about W'house party, other than there is one

Leeds Scuzzy? By far best city outside of London for clubbing and a lot nicer than Manc/L'pool/B'ham/Sheff! But yeah, Mission is horrible, really bad try hard tastic crowd for KDF too. Last KDF there were lads going round giving out random beatings too, nice.

Lets hope the gig goes better than the one in Newcastle on Mon night - so much jumping around by his monkey man following that the floor collapsed and it was stopped after 20 mins...... quite scary for a moment - I had flashbacks to a house party many years ago in a first floor flat when the floor came away and dropped a foot - 8O 8O

Thanks for that, i'll be on the lookout for a fight then, little b@stards

I've been going around to different clubs for 2 years now, i think i've got used to the try hards. The past 2 months or so ive come across some right moody looking bitchy girls , the guys have been great though :D

As for Leeds being the best city outside of London you need to travel around a bit more mate :? ;)
