That, however Dan, isn't so helpful, although for some reason it tickles me, Is this a obscure reference I don't get? If so, it's like a first row - will things ever be the same?

S'ok, it's a reasonably obscure reference that I hold only within myself until now.

In the movie Old School (out in 2003ish), theres a character (played by Will Something, was also in the film Elf) that reminds me (probably purely by the hair) of Dempsey.

Whenever I see George, I feel like I'm out with "Frank The Tank" (the aforementioned George-a-like).

Frank (the tank) is somewhat of a legend in the film, (an alter ego of days gone by of a now sedate, Frankand possibly the only (yet massively) funny bit (other than the Wedding Singer scene) in what otherwise is a standard Animal House style cash in.

There's a bit in the film (which I wont talk any more of because I want you to see it) where people are chanting FRANK THE TANK.

I've never told anyone abou this, yet everytime I see Georges silhouette, I'm chanting FRANK THE TANK FRANK THE TANK in my head.

I feel like a massive weight has been lifted now I've mentioned it. Phew.

Go get/rent the film tonight. Please. I going to feel like a right wierdo if even you cant understand my OPCR's*

No Ministry for Miss Honey and Yousef, it was a bit of a dilemma but I've had a few good Delboy fixes recently and Miss Honey was soooooooooo good back in December @ Ministry :D

If I had my way I'd do all 3 boompety boomp fests  Maybe see you on the usual podium in Ministry then ;)

Matt was convinced you'd be cheering him on at Camden Palace!

It's only Monday and I'm desperate for the weekend to arrive! 8O

Friday - I've been invited to Sean & Jo's - a crap bar near Charing Cross Road...never been before and have been told the crowd is very poncy but in an Essex way. ...hmmm. Sounds interesting.
It's all about the company on this occasion so there's no room for snobbery.

Saturday - My fave UK promotors Pushca are doing a night in Clapham and it's ticket only (which will keep out the usual Clapham  types). I'm hoping to get a gang together as Pushca parties are always amazing.

Sunday - Hoping for a bit of park time and a VERY trashy friend of mine is planning on having birthday drinks on Hoxton Sq...I'm just a tiny bit worried about the effect this will have on the following week.

Then you simply have to join us! Awaiting venue instructions from the birthday boy so will let you know...Prob somewhere with a nice al fresco space weather permitting.
I'll stick my nose in the air like a bisto kid and wait for the familiar b____ o__ poppers scent to creep over the horizon.
