Weekend Adventure

After five years in a row, I decided to have a year off Ibiza. But a mate has mentioned going over for a weekend. And I've started to get itchy dancing feet. Having no holiday left to speak of, his plan is a pretty stupid one. And I've no idea if it's practical.

Is it possible to get a flight on friday evening. Touch down at around midnight, and go straight into Pacha (or wherever), leaving a small bag in a cloakroom with towel, shorts, tees, etc. in.

Then leave Pacha when they kick us out, mess around with cabs, before arriving to a hotel to check in at. I'd guess it'll be 8 or so by this point (Do people allow you to check in 24 hours a day?)

Sleep for a bit. Get up to the usual Ibiza malarky on Saturday. and check out of the hotel on Sunday afternoon. Potter around before going to Space (or wherever) leaving the bag in a cloakroom, and then leave Space for the airport at about 2 on monday morning to catch a flight taking us to London and back to work.

This plan as stupid as it sounds requires cloakrooms and a hotel with very early check in. and an understanding boss on monday. The question for you guys is, can it be done??

Most hotels/apartments don't let you check in til about midday, if you're wanting to check in earlier then you'd probably have to pay for an extra nights stay.

Re flights I know there are flights from Gatwick on a Friday night.

We are flying out from Gatwick on Friday night- but it takes a bit longer because you have to change in Barcelona (its with Iberia)

I think Thomson fly direct on Friday nights or they def used to.

Never having brought a coat to ibiza, or a cloak, I've no idea if they've places to leave a bag for the night. Do these exist??

I don't know if you can do it... but i hope you do.

You've got to try!!!! It'll be so cool if you pull it off!! It's worth the risk! 8)
