Hello

Has anyone been to Villa Mercedes restaurant? We are considering it for a wedding, but really unsure.... Any advice welcomed!

Also, any ideas for a post wedding party? I'd love to have a BBQ but I don't want to have to hire out another venue ..

I look forward to hearing from you :-)

Thanks
C

Its in the marina area of San Antonio with views of the bay....but It's right in the centre of San Antonio, ok if u r having a church wedding I guess with just the reception there.

Thanks so much for your reply.

We are planning on getting married in a church. I am just worried about the number of apartments/hotels around it. The marina looks lovely but I'm a little concerned about behind/beside the restaurant.

To be fair it is built quite high and set back a bit so from memory it feels quite isolated. That said it's been about 6 years since I've eaten there

If you're looking for something more secluded but in the same area @ibiza77 made a good call with Cala Gracioneta or perhaps Hostal La Torre. All depends on budget though really. Haven't been to Mercedes for a few years.

I've been to villa Mercedes I don't think I'd have a wedding there. It's on the road. You want a beach front place otherwise no point in Ibiza. Cas Mila in Cala Tarida looks a nice wedding venue and you'd get a sunset I think

Another option if you are having a church service is to have the afternoon evening reception on a boat we went for that option with a BBQ on the boat was surprisingly a lot cheaper than expected. And a great way to finish the day

There are plenty of lovely places to get married that aren't beach front :-)

Yes like the agroturismos if I spelled that right but what I'm saying is villa Mercedes isn't very wedding in my opinion. I would want something very ibiza. I've had food in VM the food is very lovely as were the staff. One of the churches would be my choice but if you're not catholic you can go for San Augustin. You might be anti religion but so many other beautiful countryside choices I'm just saying VM wouldn't really be up there for me.

I missed the bit about the church duh VM would be nice for the after wedding meal. If that's what you mean.
