Yeah, didn't know if 'we' knew they'd found the young sailor though. I definitely didn't and tale of him finding out that brief meeting sent out unknown influence really made me smile :cool:
 
My fave Weatherall story (I think I posted this before) He was playing some gig, and this annoying punter was moaning at him about having paid a tenner to get in. Eventually AW got his wallet out and just said "here's a 20 now f*ck off".

A national treasure. Much missed. Although sadly his former collaborator and his estate are now embroiled in an ugly legal dispute over royalties. Details on The Flightpath Estate FB group
