Visited Ibiza at the end of last June/beginning of July and the weather was fantastic, reaching about 32-35 degrees most days. Was just wondering whether that was usual for that time of year or whether there was a slight heat wave at the time. I seem to remember that it was slightly warmer than usual at home before we left.

Have only ever visited in August prior to last year so I'm a little curious.

That is a fairly usual weather condition, but it does vary, sometimes there is more cloud, sometimes a bit cooler than that, I would expect about 28-30'C myself on average

My God was it not!! Only time I have not risked factor 4, 2 then baby oil during a 2 week stay!!!

No way, I lurve the heat (even though I shouldn't stay out in the sun for very long being as I have quite very fair skin and burn within about 10 mins if I don't wear at least a factor 15). When I go on hols I like it to be hot, don't think I could live with it though for the whole summer like you do Silvia. I do like the weather here in Jersey during the summer months however I would prefer it to be a little hotter 8)

Even the locals were bemoaning the heat....I luved it big time even tho I got a dot to dot complexion when the summer season kicks in. Althought by the end im a fully tanned greek sex god 8)

I'm considering going for a week from May 29th to catch the Space opening - but I'll just be catching some rays/showing 'the current' around.

We went @ beginning of may last year, and it reached a respectable (or i thought anyway) 30 deg most days (went up as far as 36 one day) Was nice, not too hot

it was a heatwave.

Exactly I asked a lot of people about the heat and the overwhelming response was that the temperatures during late June / early July (2003) were above normal. I was also surprised at the level of humidity on the island as the landscape of Ibiza does not correlate to the landscape of a place where the humidity is high. I was told that the high humidity was an anomaly too.
