weather update,?

Hi does anyone . on the island,know what the weather is actually going to be like next week, looking on various websites, it shows anything from sunny all week, to rain Wed and Thursday will poss thunder storm on Thursday !! thanks
 
mon tue sun, then it currently looks like we might get a few raindrops indeed wed PM and thu AM. sunny again thereafter. this might of course change again
 
so yesterday afternoon around 5pm the rain finally came. and boy did it rain! go to diario de ibiza website for pictures to get an idea. but most of you will have experienced this before - chaos as always. I personally love it! that was much needed. still overcast right now, but I think it´ll clear up in the next few hours and then it´s all sunny again for the next 10 days (as far as the forecast goes).
 
Weird weekly cycle - same thing happened last week, perfect weekend then clouds & weather front early/mid week - but there was more lightning than rain last week ! It did cool things down though which was desperately needed - but knocked out a couple of days of sunbathing if that's what you were after. The funny thing is that BBC weather predicted 4 days of straight sunshine even up to the day before the storms lol. Look at El Tiempo instead it's usually far more reliable >>

Faaaarrrkkkk ..... Experimental Beach said they were closed till 3pm doing a massive cleanup but re-opening today. It really was torrential, pretty sure the landscapes on parts of the coast will have been significantly affected. The sea swell has also been very strong with the full moon, all the West Coast bays were churned up like pea soup - was more like Autumn than Summer apart from the heat. One good thing though, seeing that forest fire break out right on the edge of San Antoni on Tuesday it was clear the island was at breaking point and that amount of rain will have at least helped damped the tinderbox.
 
I was delayed returning home yesterday, the heavens opened just in time for boarding the plane and we were 'treated' to an almighty show of lightning streaking the skies for about 90mins! I'm a pretty nervous flyer in calm skies so the thought of going up in the air had me pretty worried (obviously it was fine and we survived!!). Would like to thank the ibiza ground staff for leaving our luggage on the runway, to say it was soaking when it arrived on the baggage reclaim would be an understatement :mad: having just spent the last week over there the thunderstorm will hopefully ease some of the humidity, haven't felt it like that before when we've been.
Sitting listening back to Pete tong's ibiza classics in the garden, so grateful to have been able to go along to that it was something pretty special. Will get round to doing a full review of the week, might take a few days to get over the usual downer first though :confused::confused:

Was also about to board when it happened ! We took off 2 hours late in the end. When this happened it was clear no-one was going anywhere for a while !!!
