Had the worst weather in 10 visits to Ibiza when there last month - has the whole summer been more cloudy and more rain than normal
 
Well i was there for two weeks end July/ beginning August

and we had about a week and a bit of good weather, and the other days were cloudy.
We actually really appreciated the cloudy days because it allowed us to explore alot more easily without being hot and sweaty.
 
i was there for three weeks this july and NEVER got a drop of rain. some light clouds one day...and that was it.

nah, just august. every year there are some thunderstorms at the end of that month..... the problem is that this year they arrived two weeks earlier :!:

july was PERFECT from the beginning till the end though.....
 
I'm flying to ibiza tonight and the moment the weather forecast is saying thunderstorms the whole week I'm there !!

August was pathetic re weather from second week.
We were abroad the third week and we nearly had a heart attack to hear the weather forecast at cnn and they said MInimum for Madrid 13ºC 8O 8O That's october temperature

That explains why my 2 week stint from 25 Aug - 8 Sep was almost perfect. I remember one day with light cloud but the rest was sun all the way 8)

I was there 11-18th Aug, and I cant remember any thunderstorms, or particularly bad weather, maybe its because I didnt see much daylight, but pretty sure the weather was pretty good!
 
I was there from the 27th Aug - 10th Sept and we didnt see 1 drop of rain. There were a few slightly cloudy days but they usually cleared up.
A few people we met were there last week and they had loads of thunderstorms, including one when they were on one of the boats!8O
 
Last week ( 11-15th ) the island experienced some nasty thunderstorm's during the late evening's with the road's turning into river's, though my first week was typical weather, with hot sunny day's & warm evening's.

I was there from 28th june to 5th july and the weather was sunny all week and about 32 degrees. although 1st day was cloudy and very humid which made it extremely sticky
 
i was there from August 28 - Sept 7 and had warm / hot sunshine every day except the last day was a wee bit overcast in the morning..
lovely weather 8)

since may the weather has been lovely , the odd cloudy day..very few... but early august there was a very unusual tempremental week.. but then hotter than usual until the couple of bad storms last week.. but weather settled now to norm for this time of year..26c/ 28c days .....20c /21c at night.. nights will get a little cooler soon tho.. but should stay mid 20s in the daytimes until november!!!!:lol:
 
My sister returned this week after a rubbish weather week. I am off on Friday night and the forecast is crap - all thunderstorms and rain. It must be the bl##dy yanks and a-rabs polluting the atmosphere with munitions. Why can't the a-rabs go and play in the US - then everybody 'appy.

I hope not! This is my first holiday in 2 years or so and im really looking forward to chilling out in the sun! :cry:
