Weather Question

Right - sorry another thread from me.

Going to the island this weekend - looks like there might be some rain - arg!

What are the rainstorms like there? I.e. south east asia where it pisses it down for 30 mins then clears up?

Also what is the weather generally like at the moment?
 
currently hot and sunny.

if it rains it normally doesn't rain as hard as in SE asia. it does happen, but it's not as usual as in asia where you can have those torrential rains on a daily basis.

also, I wouldn't believe the weather forecast too much. I'm not saying it surely won't rain, but very often it just doesn't in this time of the year, even though the forecast says rain.
