weather from next week

will be off to ibiza next week santa eulalia. just want to know what the weather will be like. havnt been to ibiza since the early 2000,s and each may when we went by the middle of the month it was always really warm mid 20,s to late 20,s but looking at bbc weather site temps say 17c to 19c. surely it must be warmer then that. looks like it will be warmer back in uk with temps saying early 20cs for next week. still looking forward to going back to ibiza. how busy is the island at the moment or is it empty. it always seemed quite busy in the resorts in may when we used to go. thanks ...matt:)
 
I've been watching Ibiza's weather closely for the last ten years, and I'm convinced spring (May/June) temperatures, both air and sea, are consistently lower now than then. Right now, temperatures are rubbish, and seem to rarely get into the 20's. Ibiza's getting the sort of weather England should expect for May, but maybe 2/3c warmer!

What does happen in mid-late May in Ibiza is that the sun is getting towards the highest point in the sky (only 5 weeks off!) so even though shade temps seem cool (low 20's) it will feel quite hot directly in the sun.

So, really, you should be looking to see how much cloud cover is expected. If it's clear, it will be pleasant enough!
