The FA Youth Cup

Congrats to Man City youth who came from behind last night to beat Chelski youth 3.1 (4.2 on agg). It's been a long tinme coming and hopefully it will rub off on the senior squad!! :D
 
Lol. Liverpool won it the last two years in a row and also just won the reserve league championship. Doesn't mean diddly though unfortuately, none of the players ever graduate to the first team :lol:

I think you will find that Daniel Sturridge (who played on sat at sunderland and won a penalty before being injured, an injury that kept him out of last nights match) has already featured in thye 1st team this year. And indeed from the team that lost to Liverpool in the final 2 years ago we currently have Kaspar Schmiechel, Michael Johnson, Stephen Ireland, Nedum Onuha, Micah Richards, Shaleum Logan, Kelvin Etuhu......all featuring regularly this term!!

Incidentally, as you mention Liverpool, I was privvy to the Interview with the "Texan Ranger" this morning and it's interesting how he measures the clubs success...not on trophies won.......but on shirts sold in Asia. Says a lot really doesn't it?
