Wax Da Jam

It's always a decent night. Old-school atmosphere and genuine people. Far enough away from it all .... used to be great at Aura and I'm sure it'll be equally decent at Las Dalias.

I went last year and loved it. It wasn't very busy at all (early Sept) but the vibe and music was great.

Was free entry when we went (probably anticipated the quiet night anyway) and the drinks were reasonable.

If your not staying as far north as that, you could always make a day of it and spend the day up there and swing by Las Dalias on your way back and just grab a cab home from there.

Looks like it might be a goer...

Staying on Figueretas so its 1/2 hr by taxi. Any good beaches etc up that way, could maybe get the bus up there in the day and taxi back if poss...?

Had such a brilliant time there last year. George has been in the game since the start of acid house and is a top, top geezer. Really friendly and humble and the antithesis of the vip/ego bullshit elsewhere. Music goes all over the place (if you want tech or edm then avoid!) and the crowd were top notch (no idiots). It's slightly off the radar and all the better for it.

Could head up to Es Cana, Cala St Vicent, Aguas Blancas, Es Figueral during the day. A bite to eat in San Carlos or Es Cana and stop in via Las Dalias then a joe baxi back to Figueretas. If you get to Wax Da Jam before 11pm its free, so just do that, and theres your taxi money saved from the free entry. Then just hang out in the garden or upstairs and enjoy the surroundings!

I think you'd have to get a bus to St Eulalia, then another on from there.

How long does it take on the bus to Santa Eulalia (Las Dalias)? Also im sure i read somewhere that you can but a bus travel card which works out cheaper than paying cash each time. Lastly how late does the bus service operate?

Cheers

Cheers, not sure whether to spend the day up that way (we are staying in Figueretas) or head back after the beach then back up there later. Hopefully get a taxi back..

Is there a bus card thingy available as we will prob be using the bus alot?

Sod it..taxis going to be about 60€ return but going give it a go tonight...

Shame as getting slapped for 60 Euros by a blooming taxi driver kind of takes the edge off a decently priced down-to-earth night. I'd rather ditch the vodka in my limon and drive. Probably work out about 6 euros in fuel in September using rented wheels. That's probably why I wind up giving lifts so much !
