Water Parties?

I've heard that the water parties consist of a huge water cannon that just fills the whole place with water. Anyone know if this is true? and is it worth going to?
 
To be honest I don't think they are. The most famous one is Fiesta del Agua @ Es Paradis, which is more like lots of little Springs rather than a big water canon. The music isn't up to much and the water is rank (imagine all the cig butts etc. from everyone all night in water at the end of the night. Also, if you're not staying in San Antonio you'll have problems getting a taxi back.

do a search as this topic has been discussed before and you may find your answer there...........try 'water party', 'fiesta del agua' or variations of.

at Es Paradis there is no one cannon as such, just several small jets (5 or 6 i think) that water is comes out of. The main dancefloor is bowl shaped (with steps) and the water comes from near the top of the steps pointing into the middle of the dancefloor.

N.B. The area that gets flooded is only a small proportion of the the club........so if you don't wanna get wet then there'll be plenty of room to dance.

its got this really original bass sound but thats the only way i can describe it

it also has female vocals

says something like "come on and ___ with me"

any ideas?
 
dunno the song you mean, could it be "Naked in the Rain" :? .

every time i've been there and there has been a water party, "Singin in the Rain" has always come on as soon as the water starts.:roll: :lol:

Sorry knew to this but I thought it was "Singing In The Rain" but a newer version?
 
when we were there they played that Joey negro song , come and make a move on me wen the water started dunno if thats rite tho :?:
