I hear all the water in the taps is salt water meaning you would have to buy water to drink all the time and also buy water to do your hair, brush your teeth, ect.
Where is the best place in san Antonio to go for water and what are the prices. I'll be there a whole month and am not looking forward to brushing teeth or showing in salt water, any advice? Please help as clearly with the temperature in Ibiza in June, water is a serious factor!

Thanks!

Water is available from every shop and supermarket in containers ranging from little bottles to really big packs.

We usually get a really big container of water then pour it out into smaller bottles so they fit in the fridge.

I don't have any specific prices for the water but it is VERY cheap and having to buy water for the holiday won't break the bank.

As you say, with the heat its an essential purchase and is extremely welcome after coming in from a day baking on the beach.

i think you heard wrong. the water in san antonio is supplied by the desalination plant and has no salt in it. you can drink it with no problem at all.

if i remember rightly, when i went to ibiza, water wasnt salt water. i dont know of anywhere that its salt water through the taps? Its fine to brush teeth in etc, but i think they suggest you buy bottled water to drink

Water

Its not salt water but its heavily chlorinated so its not what you'll be used to but its perfectly drinkable and you wont get worms! The bottled stuff is nicer.

You can use the water for hair and brushing teeth. Not so nice to drink. If you want even cheaper water there is a well near santa eulalia, water costs 50c or 1e (can't remember now) for 60litres. Bargain
