Ibiza is the Mecca for great nights out due to the famous clubs which attract the biggest names in the club seen for its laid back attitude and fantastic surroundings.

The Role

We invite everybody to enjoy our beach side pre-parties where the Ibiza night life really begins. It will be your job as the promoter to sell the pre-party as well as other events exclusively organised by ourselves.

Working Hours

The normal hours of a promoter will range between 5 to 7 hours per day normally beginning between 11 and 12 noon. You will be working mainly on the white sandy beaches of Ibiza with further opportunities for advancement and to help out at our events.

Training and Earnings

We will provide you with comprehensive training so you will have all the tools needed to become a highly successful promoter. Less exceptional promoters can sell between 30 to 50 tickets a week earning a minimum of 8 to 10 euro per ticket, with more confident promoters achieving this in one day.

Be part of it!

Will this be for licensed PR`s ? EG when the undercover Guardia ask "who do you work for" (and they will) will I be facing the pleasure of a strip search, A night in the cells and a hefty fine probably ending in a quick flight home or have a legit "paying tax & NI" contract ?

Tim

i notice this is the same ad as last year - how did the parties go in 2010 and how were they branded? i'm sure anyone applying would like to know who they would be working for (can you tell i watched the apprentice this year?)

you'd have thought the spelling would have been up to scratch if it were legit, got my hopes up when i 'scene' this :)

Worker`s, Please be careful with similar "jobs" as above, If you do not have a contract of employment and get pulled by the many undercover police,,,,, That are out in the middle of the night "pretending" to be tourists,,,,,, That are looking for illegal PR`s,,,,, That will try and entrap you,,,,,, ( your employer will say not to all the above)
You will at the very least spend a night with some very unpleasant people, You will probably get a €1000 fine if it is just street PR the first time, 2nd offence or something like balloon selling is really not funny,,,,,
No contract = You are an illegal worker.

pps, Do not expect you employer to "rescue you" if pulled, They should be paying Tax NI & have a license per PR, They stand to get a bigger fine, They will deny ever seeing you

so basically if i'm out there this summer and selling tickets of handing flyers out for example. i should have signed a contract and be wearing one of those orange bibs i seen most pr's wearing last summer? then if an undercover cop approaches me i'll be ok?

I am not sure where the PR "ticket sellers" stand on where they can and cant sell, The bib`s are for bar`s, If they want one they have to have (IIRC) 5 people "on the books" as normal workers paying NI and pay around €1200 PER PR ! (Illegal PR in front of a bar that is paying, you will get grief) You can get asked at any time to prove "who you work for" If you can not provide reasonable proof on the spot, You will be arrested,

Tim

sorry i wasn't really very clear in what i asked. how would you be able to prove who you work for? with a workers card for example or some form of id?
