Not to alarm anybody, but

BBC: Iceland volcano: New quakes raise concern over large eruption

Now it's anyones guess at the moment but there is a slight chance of an eruption and then possible ash cloud, as in 2010.

Might be worth checking your holiday insurance/travel company covers volcanos before/if it goes off, just in case

I swear if this thing causes my Ibiza trip to be canceled (22 days now) I will swim to Iceland and piss into the crater to put it out myself!!!

That ash cloud ruined my plans to go to Barcelona in 2010 so I don't want the same for my visit to Ibiza in 2 weeks!

Boat to St Malo
Train from St Malo to Rennes
Train from Rennes to Paris
Train from Paris to Barcelona
Boat to Ibiza

I'm preparing for the worst!

This has happened a lot before, the media are only hyping it up now because of what happened in 2010. At the moment, there's little/no chance it will be anywhere near as big.

If it does all go off though and flights are grounded, I'm quite prepared to drive. Pop a mate as named driver on the car insurance and get the ferry from Valencia. Only takes about a day.

I wonder if my holiday insurance will pay for the train from Middlesbrough to London to Paris to Barcelona then boat to Ibiza?
