You're giving them a 20% tip on top of paying €500 for the privilege of sitting at a table? Much bonkersness. I know it's the American way, but blimey, that seems punchy to an EnglanderWe're there the same night - but not planning Ushuaia. Two of us 40-somethings and we've booked a VIP table for 4 at Hï across the street for Guetta/Morton. Looking to share with a couple - 500€ per person plus gratuity = 600€ pp and includes entry, table/seating in section D, bottle service, access to VIP areas. Message me if you'd like to join us, though I imagine you're just as excited to see Calvin Harris as I am to see future rave.
Oooh - not by choice, my friend. I agree with you, and even in the US it is a bit much (service should be included in prices for bottles/table minimums). My understanding is that it is the policy @Hi, which is different than other Ibiza clubs. I've seen online posts from those spending much more (15K+) for large group tables, who fight the gratuity due to poor service, and then find trouble/shennanigans from bouncers for their group. I didn't want there to be any surprises for someone who was interested. Getting written confirmation from the VIP host on that point and will update my post if I learn otherwise. You're giving them a 20% tip on top of paying €500 for the privilege of sitting at a table? Drop some knowledge on me my man. I'm up for any suggestions! I'm just an unexperienced american with memories of glory days of real club music (one year in the heart of germany in '95/96).... Big fan of 90's house and trance, and still can't keep "faded" off my playlist loop #apologies. In the states, bottle service is the only way to sit/have a bit of space in a club, and if we're going to make it to the main event we need a break. Also, I'm hearing that the design of Hi means a crush of people for the main event, and I have no desire for dry humping a stranger in a crowd without him buying me a drink firstYou can have a party in ibiza clubs for less than that you know.. '
I'm hearing trance is a thing of the past, and though I have NO GRAY hair and can rock my clubwear, I don't want to believe it..... ALSO we are celebrating 22 years of marriage (24 years of the same D) and hubby's last summer of his 40s. We're not into chemical enhancements to party and I've attached a photo from last fall in Vegas. I'm not a spring chicken, but not ready to put this fabulous b**ch on a shelf. Any recommendations on other great options from the seasoned experts in this forum?Drop some knowledge on me my man. I'm up for any suggestions! We are considering Eden on Saturday night (entry ticket/not table) for Shine/trance.
See? LOL!! I absolutely love the support of this group.Ah ok, in these conditions yes, you need a table![]()
If you want Trance and also a VIP clubbing experience, then you might want to take a look at Tox which is the small club at Destino Pacha Resort. thank you for that recommendation! We'll be out on Thursday, Friday, Saturday (14-16) and fly to Barcelona on the 17th. I'm not seeing Tox with anything scheduled, and am awaiting potential announcements while we're there. Thanks for the tip - unfortunately we have to fly out sunday morning, so we'll miss that. I'll check out the other Pacha lineup for when we're there. Not sure of your dates but I reckon you should really consider Pacha on Sunday 17th for Solomun and Adriatique rather than Hi… one you get can smaller VIP tables in Pacha and it is a much more authentic Ibiza experience than Hi … there are also seating areas on a couple (3) outside terraces for when you need a breather … we too are in our 40s couple who grew up on 90s clubbing
I've got Pacha Saturday (Masquerade) on the short list for our last night there. It might be tough to be out all night before our flight/cruise on Sunday, but I'm a sucker for a masquerade.... #labyrinthNot sure of your dates but I reckon you should really consider Pacha on Sunday 17th for Solomun and Adriatique rather than Hi… one you get can smaller VIP tables in Pacha and it is a much more authentic Ibiza experience than Hi … there are also seating areas on a couple (3) outside terraces for when you need a breather … we too are in our 40s couple who grew up on 90s clubbing

Thoughts?
Thanks for replying.... we're only at Ushuaia for the first part of the night.. and the plan thereafter is not clear yet (my friend will prob go to bed whereas I will grab a shower, change and head back out out to enjoy the real night!). I think you're definitely right in considering VIP ...otherwise the crushes and queues can be something else. its always nice to leave VIP for a bit to be in the crowd and enjoy the vibe when in the midst of it ...but come back for a breather and a drink. Not all VIPs are as good as others - but a good option to have if you can afford it.We're there the same night - but not planning Ushuaia.
