Hello everyone,
I will be in Ibiza September 16 - 18, does anyone have any suggested itineraries Pacha, Space, Amnesia, etc.... Is it possible to reserve tables at any of the clubs? Are there VIP entrances/rooms we want to avoid lines and ordering from a bar? We are coming from NY and are accustomed to having tables in VIP reserved when we go out, can we expect the same in Ibiza. What are the requirements i.e. Bottles. Who should I contact to set things up in advance?

Are there any upscale places with good parties? I know this is worlds capital for parties so forgive my ignorance; it is our first visit.

Thanks for all the help!

Ed.

Usually it is not worth it to go as VIP. The cost is quite high and it offers very little value for money. ESPECIALLY at Pacha. Sometimes the VIP deck is busier than the rest of the place (lots of posers). VIP at El Divino and Amnesia is cool. Space sometimes has a VIP area, sometimes it doesn't.

Wouldn't know where to buy those tickets in advance; always bought mine at the door or got them from friends.

Where you get your drinks without waiting is a matter of scouting. :) E.g., at Pacha the best place to be is on the terrace. That's where all the "real" VIPs (the DJs, etc.) are also. At Space, the best place for relaxing and speedy service is the upstairs terrace.

Thnaks for the reply. Just a couple more questions if you don't mind:

What Party would you recommend on Thursday the 16th?
How much is expensive?

Thanks,

Re: VIP

Thanks! I've heard that Ibiza is a late night spot what is a good time to get to amnesia is it like NY (12-1 AM)?

Everling,

I think you should give us a bit of information about what are your musical preferences so we can give you best advice.

I'm looking for reservations in IBIZA. Barcelona, to me is going to be a cultural trip in which I can divulge myself in the Spanish culture. Ibiza however I am looking to party, Cream Closing Party @ Amnesia Thursday, 9/16.

I want to be able to book VIP reservations to avoid lines and having to wait at a bar ordering drinks... I realize that VIP cost $$$ but I need help with the reservations!

Thanks Silvia!

16.9. Cream closing party @ Amnesia
17.9. Defected closing party @ El Divino
18.9. Def Mix @ Pacha

Definately book VIP for El Divino and maybe for Amnesia but don´t do it for Pacha.

Clubs just open their doors 12pm. Parties really start 3am. That is the time to go 8)

you're looking at about 250-300 euros for a bottle of spirits with mixers.

VIP is the way forward if you have plenty of cash :D

and it all depends how many of you are on the table you may well have to buy more than one bottle to get near a table, esp for the closing parties.

For tables you normally have to request at the club beforehand and book one.

El Divino VIP kicks ass :

especially when Andy Daniell is playing in the main room!

that boy is gonna be HUGE (not pie-eating huge)

Going for VIP tables depends alot on the time of year, the club and the night in question. VIP tables at Hed Kandi, Cream, Manumission or F**k me I'm Famous are godsends during August. Expensive, but you get the drinks, a little more space and cooler air. I shouldn't think in September that you should have problems booking a table.
As far as the right time to hit the clubs, 12-1 am is WAY too early for Ibiza. People will still be eating dinner or having a drink. Try heading to the clubs around 2-3 am.

Thanks for the info! Do you know who I can contact for the reservations:
9/16 @ CREAM
9/17 @ El Divino
9/18 @ Pacha

What's good between 12-3 Bora-bora????

Personally I'd much rather do without sitting in VIP areas although in August at Divino's it's quite nice with the breeze n all.

Matt,
I'm actually going to be in London for my B-day this year 10/17 any suggestions on where to hit Friday & Saturday?

judging by what you are into i would suggest the Dogstar in Brixton...
the address is 389 Coldharbour Lane, London, SW9 8LQ

it would be just up your street... but i bet you have the best birthday ever...
its a bit special in there friday and saturday night...
a really cool sofisticated crowd and ...
the VIP area ... it has to be seen to be believed ... it will blow you away...
cost a lot of $$$$$$$$$ to get in there but well worth it IMHO

have fun
