Villa's!!

Hello!!

I haven't managed to get out to Ibiza this summer, but will most definitely be returning to the island for a visit in 2013 and considering the idea of staying in a villa.... I'm a villa virgin so can anyone recommend any good company's/website's to book villa's through? Also any general advice or info on villa's in Ibiza would be greatly appreciated!!

You can book villas through the main spotlight website,links at very top of this page. We hired one through spotlight last year and was very simple and worked out perfect. Only bit of advice I would say is you will need ppl who are prepared to drive for most villas as they are abit more tucked away. Also think about who your going with if it's a large group as you'll b in close quarters

nice if you can get a good one.not cheap.see how many is going and fill it with limit.ie 6/8 etc.most though you need a car to get to.so drinks out.or a lot on taxis.google it.
 
all my friends back home are starting to catch on to how much fun I've been having here, so there may be 10 or so of us coming from the US next summer for a visit, and we're also interested in doing a villa.

this site seems to have a little better selection than spotlight, but again I've never rented one.

for any villa veterans, about how early do you need to book it in order to secure your first choice? and i notice on spotlight at least most villas say you need to arrive on saturday during high season, how strictly is this enforced? or would a monday/sunday arrival work as well?

just to clarify for our american friend, we do not allow links on this site to competitors.

you may well find a larger selection of villas on other sites, there are actually thousands of different types of accommodation available privately on the island. however, to rent out a villa legally in ibiza a license from the island consell (council) is required and spotlight only acts as an agent for accommodation which has this license - hence the smaller, but perfectly legal, portfolio.
 
wups :spank: :oops: sorry wasnt trying to promote other companies, this is still my favorite stop for news, hotels, tickets or anything else ibiza related :)

on that note, spotlight villas or otherwise, can anyone vouch for how strict the arrival on saturday is? we'll probably be looking for a bit more than a week, probably 9-10 days, I assume its not an issue or do most owners only offer it by the week?

and how far in advance do they get booked up? no one can commit to specific dates quite yet, but i assume a majority of the popular villas are all reserved for july/august by the time april rolls around?
