Villas

Any tips on places to hire one too? Don’t really fancy staying in San An or Ibiza Town but wouldn’t mind being just outside either of them

Thanks

Loads of good websites just type in "Ibiza Villas+rental" in google search bar or have a look on the accommodation section on this site.

Tips.

A car is a good idea - most accommodation is a little bit out and not on the general bus routes.
The more the merrier - sometimes its far cheaper to get a villa between say 6 of you than it is to book an actual holiday - book your flights as soon as they come out for better value.

Enjoy! in my mind - its the best way to enjoy Ibiza. 8)

ta for that

Has anyone stayed in a villa?
Will they be a bit cautious renting one to a group of young lads?
Do they have loads of rules about loud music etc?
Were not going to burn the place to the ground but it would be nice to have a few shindigs

i wouldnt imagine there would be a prob with music etc, they wont watch you 24/7 if at all, i saw one on ebay that slept 5 people, it was in cala tarida just outside san an, was a really nice place with pool, bbq etc etc

it was 690 british pounds for a week in high season

divide that by 5 and it aint that much really....

i'm sure that anyone who has invested half a million or more on a villa would be chomping on the bit to get a gang of young scousers installed in it. i know i would!

I hire one every year for Ibiza - I love it!!

We did hire a beautiful villa in Cala Salada, up above San An one year, you have to remember that some of these villas are in really peaceful areas. There was one villa - further up the hill and behind us which had a group of young guys in, they got kicked out of the villa 4 days into their holiday for rowdiness and generally ruining the ambience of the area.

If you are going to party - then find a villa that is in the middle of nowhere. Also, you have to remember that the villa owner/agent may do spot checks, ours used to turn up every day to water the plants and feed all the cats. After our second time staying in our favourite villa - I just offered to do the watering and the feeding and the owner was fine, I never saw him until end of the second week.

When you book a villa, the owner/agent will ask for copies of your passports and take a note of your passport numbers, be assured, if you screw up in the villa in any shape or form, they will find you....... (just a little word of warning ;) )

Nah, we have no intention of smashing the place up and turning it into Fear & Loathing in Ibiza but wouldnt mind a bit of loud music and be able to sit up smashed after the night before without funny looks from any owners

Were all respectable people :D

Then you will have no problem then mate. Just be careful for blaring music between the hours of 12.00am - 7.00am, last thing you want is a visit from the local plod.... 8)

Can you get anything smaller than a villa?
Had a look on some of the websites but it seems only 4 or 5 of us want to go now and the villas are a bit too expensive for that many.

Just don’t fancy staying in an 18-30s hotel with people running riot round it like every other year.

Advice appreciated. Especially to puppylover

I know of an apartment that sleeps 4-6 in Playa Den Bossa it looks canny and a massive balcony. Will see if I can find you a link and pm you.
