Poor bugger.

Professional goalkeeper wearing baggy grey tracksuit bottoms though, it doesn't breed faith in him, does it?

Today was all about Henrik Larsson, what a player 35 years of age and he scores on his debut, i used to laugh at these idiots when he played @ Celtic who used to say "Larsson would never cut it in England" eating their words now eh.

Larsson on his day was amongst the best strikers in the world, he has done it on the big stage in the Champions League, UEFA Cup, Euro Championships, World Cup and La Liga and now in England, eat horse**** muppets :p

no your right, i've not been to tannadice since mypa put us out of europe.

but celtic fans going on about larsson is ****ing boring. seriously.

Well seen as he was one of our greatest ever players it's not too boring to us, im sure Dundee/Dundee Utd fans talk quite a bit about whoever their heroes are

ps. on that note, whats the football like in Dublin?
League Of Ireland not very good unfortunately.

Aren't you the "Man U have the loudest fans" man or something?

I was actually thinking of you today. Hearing the game on the radio, the SIX THOUSAND Villa fans made it sound like it was a game at their park. Possibly one of the most embarassing home efforts for crowd noise I've ever heard, including the ubquitous (and unreplied) "Shall we sing a/Shall we sing a/Shall we sing a song for you/Shaaaaalll we siiiiiinng a sonnngggg ffoooorrr you."

(Oh, and I originally though this thread was going to be another tale of how the guy from The Goober Villa was still chasing B for cash!)

when villa played at white hart lane the other week (and got beat), their keeper was wearing his pyjamas that day too.

he looked a complete kn0b

The derby was like that too. Honestly, around the away section, folk were sat with their arms folded, occassionally unfolding them for a polite clap. Even at 3-1 down, we were by far the more vocal. Maybe it was better in the Stretford End but it was seriously sorry around the away section.

Worst support we've ever seen. ;)

Funny enough Jonny, you popped into mind when I heard about this:

http://www.eleven-a-side.com/acrossthewater/irish_soccer_detail.asp?newsid=25950

A young footballer with a glittering career ahead of him choice of Celtic, or the team second bottom of the Premiership. No contest, chooses Charlton hands town.

Actually Buckley boy you would need to to keep on top of things old chap be has actually signed for Sunderland and not Charlton :p not that i care anyway we have enough quality in our team as it is, we have the league all but won and are in the Champions League, if this kid chooses Sunderland over Celtic it's his prerogative, he's probably doing the right thing anyway as he will get more opportunities to play @ Sunderland than he would @ Celtic meaning his career could possibly flourish.

Cross my heart - I was completely gobsmacked by it, considering how many of you there were. Too many tourists just wanting a snap of Ronaldo and Rooney for the album, clearly. ;)

As I said, the Stretford End was probably more vocal, but it was piss poor around me. Embarrassingly so as everyone likes a bit of banter.
